RTS style map

OK, this is a very basic outline of waht i want the map to be.

Basically, each large Hexagon is a village. The outside is a wall (starts off with 7), and there is a Castle (starts with 10), Archery (starts with 1), and a Training Center (starts with 1). Everything else is neutral and starts with 3. Outside of your village is an iron mine (the circle), and a wood place (the triangle)(i need a better name for this, lol).

There are 6 villages, and 1 abandoned village in the middle (it will start out as neutral). Connecting all of the villages will be hexagons (i havent finished drawing them yet). Connecting the places inside of the village will be paths. A path will also connect the resources to the hexagons.


**Bonuses**
-You will recieve no bonus for your village without that village's Castle!

+2 Wood Place. +1 for any additional trees (there will be 5 outside of each wood place) If you have no trees, you get no bonus for your wood place.

Iron Mine will give you +3

Training center will give +4

**End Bonuses**

other stuff:

Archery can attack bombard (attack but not conquer) enemy walls.

the middle village is always neutral.
No matter what, each person only gets 1 village to start.

Fog of War might be cool for this, if that is ever made.
Also, it would be cool if the bonuses came up in a pop-up if you click on a "bonuses" button.

Ps: I want to finish gameplay before graphics! Also, i dont think that i can nice graphics for this map, anyone who wants to help or just take over can do so.

in a way, yes, but it is also very different. It has a similar theme, but very different gameplay. Really, i thought of this from playing Tribal Wars.

Age of realm also sounds very similar to Feudal War :roll:


And the trilogy also sounds similar to an idea i came up with :wink:

u would know wouldnt u cairns?

but this idea is very basic in similarity to age of realms, but the gameplay seems much different from realms map. for 1 thing, this is all on 1 continent rather than islands, and the bonuses are somewhat different.

TBH, i like this more than age of realms already :wink: :lol:

DiM seems your map is overshadowing the origonal comcept **coughfeudalcough**

suggestion instead of making a rough draft make a good draft i can't suggest anything with this draft

I want the gameplay to be really good before i do ANYTHING with graphics.

in that case we need terr names and basic colors to show where the gameplay lies then feedback amy begin to flow a little better

Just saying that im still working on this map. Heres some of what im doin. Still have to add a LOT of stuff. Its gonnna have all of the things in the first post. I might not update it for a long time, so i just wanna get it up on the internet while i get a chance.

If u ever do do the resources (i.e. the iron mine and "wood place") name the "wood place" the "Lumber Mill" or "Timber Area" or something. Also, here's some other possible resources: (I strongly recommend against using all of them, lol. Possibly one or two)

  • Stone Quary (not sure that's spelled right, I'm to lazy to check)
  • Gold Mine
  • Farmland


Additional suggestion: every castle should have only ONE hexagon/tile/thing touching it.
