I don't think it's really racist...more like regionist.

Reminds me of doodle earth but instead of a child's view of the world we're now portraying a stupid white, christian, American.

perhaps the title of the map could be "prejudiced world"
Not all maps have to be rose red and sugar sweet, but I will be honest and say that I take distance from this map, perhaps you could clarify your intentions for the map ? so it might for me, could have a future (with some text changes)

I dunno, that's a lot of porn geography for someone who loves Jesus so much... Dare I say, the stereotypical American probably couldn't fill out a map as well as this one has been labeled.

I could see it working if it became an economic map of the world. Own factories here, resource areas there, retail in another place. Categories like oil, textiles, wood, food, minerals (gems?), and humans as a resource too. So own a village in India, conquer a call centre, then pick up an American telecom company, and you've got business and +armies. Less stable countries (eg. oil from Angola instead of Alaska) will yield less profits somehow.

Quite right there
Though it might have a catholic origin, considering their headlines over the last years... Can't confirm that though, didn't make it...
