Also i need some help with the bonuses for each area. The image is very large and the graphics aren't very good. the map will be made smaller and ill try and i'll see if anyone wants to help me with this map.

Go to
imageshack.com or
photobucket to host your images (both are free). upload your images there and then copy the direct link between the [bigimg][/bigimg] tags.

As someone who used to live in Sidney this looks promising. Though I would suggest putting Sidney on the upper Saanich Pennisula with Victoria on the lower portion.
Do you have a graphics program? If not I suggest getting GIMP which is free and you can find
some good tutorials here and
here

I live in the general vincity of Vancouver Island, and I therefore like it alot! But if you are planning on taking this farther, you'll need to change quite a bit.
First of all, you cut out the Howe Sound! Put it in there and you could add Gambier Island, Bowen Island, and perhaps Squamish too.
Saltspring Island could use a place.
The Saanich penninsula is bigger than that! Victoria should be below Sidney.
Some ferry routes are incorrect, and some could be added.
The ferry to Nanaimo goes from Horseshoe bay, not Vancouver.
The ferry from Tsawwassen goes to Sidney, not Victoria.
There is a major ferry between Tsawwassen and Namaimo, you could add that.
I would suggest a land's end bonus, like the Malta map, for a +1 bonus if you hold Victoria and Port Hardy.
Continue with this, Conquer Club needs some more maps of the Pacific Province!

Map is too big. Try reducing it to 840x800, you should be able to fit in that size just fine.
I recommend reading my GIMP tutorial:
viewtopic.php?f=466&t=140723 It tells you everything you need to know on making a geographical map with GIMP, with step-by-step examples and images.
Also official GIMP documentation:

Ok, it doesn't have to be exactly 840x800... it can be smaller if you need, you don't have to skew the proportions of the map just to conform with the size limit...
Anywho, get GIMP, start learning and start over... the sooner you do it the better, there's no reason to continue with the MS paint version.
