Actually I am originally from Cleveland, and although I did eventually escape, I think that geographically it might be interesting. It has a river splitting east from west and is bordered by water entirely on its northern side. It was a staple of the steel industry as well as the automotive industry for many years. You could however go comedic and have the river on fire, the old Cleveland stadium "the mistake on the lake" and I'm sure you could find many other fun facts about Cleveland to include.

I've given this idea some thought... perhaps something along the lines of the heyday of Cleveland with the steel industry ect. Have some sort of Industrial tycoonish aspect to it. It might be cool.

Sigh... no one ever pays attention to Columbus, even though it's THE MOST POPULATED CITY IN THE STATE AND IT'S THE CAPITAL!!!!!!!! Anyways... I think you could make it work well - maybe do something around the age of Carnegie and Rockefeller, when Cleveland was in it's industrial (helix) heyday.

You could do a larger map of the Rust Belt to incorporate the old school industrial age.
