Something centred around circles
Posted: Thu Nov 25, 2010 6:50 pmI can't remember how I started thinking about this, but today I thought about making a map centred around circles. I don't know if one has been thought of or made before, since searching for the word circles in the map foundry brings up over 4000 results.
Each circle could have territories along it. The bigger the circle, the more territories there are and the larger the region bonus would be. They would be colour coded but could also have the colour written inside the circle for those who are colour blind. The players would be only able to attack one way in each circle in the way each arrow is pointing. The map would just have quite simple gameplay.
The player could attack from one circle to the next from where the circles meet, (the pink spots on the pic). There would be territories at these spots, which would be shared by the circles and would be included in the bonuses, (i.e to get the red bonus, a player would have to get all the red territories and also the territories that it shares with blue and purple). The bonus people would gain from each region could be written inside each circle as well.
As for the theme, maybe it could be about taking control of various UFO landings and the circles could be crop circles, or it could be about deciding who gets control of a bubble bath and the circles could be bubbles.
