Okay, here's the Eastern Fur Trade to go along with the Western Fur Trade!

The Fur Trade in what is now Eastern Canada and Northeastern US during the 1700's through the 1800's.

Game Play:
    -58 territories
    - 8 Starting 'HQ', everything else starts with 3 neutral
    - Traps and Traplines are coded to start with 5 neutral
    - Holding 1 trap and 1 trapline will give you 2 extra fur traders
    - Simple map with the only other armies you get are by taking over your competitors trading posts. You will get +1 for every 4 trading post you hold (not the normal 1 man for every 3)

I think the idea is interesting, though I usually am more inclined to have cartographers wait and see if a series they are making is interesting (I.E. it is up for live play, and there is genuine feedback), before starting, or at least, getting heavily into the next map of the series.

This is true, but since I got bored I decided to throw this together and see how it sticks.

I'd echo the sentiments of the big monkey!

I noticed that you had asked for the two threads to be merged, but I think that is likely to cause you more grief in the long run. For now, you should focus on getting the Western map on the road (trail) first.

You're just saying that because the monkey let you have a couple of bananas!

On that point, I'll get back on the trail and stay out west in search of furs!!
