I'd rather play doubles with someone who knows it well to learn some of the secrets.

Middle Earth but of the 1st Age.

Postby war_bloodline on Thu Dec 14, 2006 7:31 pm

I know we have a Middle Earth and there is nothing wrong with it but what about Middle before the 3rd age.

I know not a lot of people have read the book "The Silmarillion" but it has a good amount of battles in it so it looks like it may work.

Sorry I don't know how to make a map.

*I know it may not pass.

It did change between the 1st and 3rd age. You have Belerland, Angband, Hithlum, Thangorodrim, Dorthonion, Lothlann, the city of Gondolin, and a land bridge that connected to Valnor all of it was sunk by the valar before the 3rd age. There was much that had changed. Sorry I am a LOTR fan.

I don't think the fundamental geography changed enough from 1st age to 3rd age to make a map of the northwest different enough.

You could consider doing a map of the whole of Arda or maybe all of Middle Earth like this one?

No idea on the copyright status, the company that made it Iron Crown Enterprises went bankrupt in the 90s I believe so maybe the rights have lapsed?
