Network Map

Simple Idea:

Use chained attacks to simulate a computer network for a science fiction map.

The network nodes would be made up of circles at territory border junctions and the borders would be the attacking connection between them. These nodes can be attacked by their connected territories and by each other. This creates the network circuit.

At certain points on the map and within some of the territories there are controlling nodes that have the ability to chain attack along the nodes in the circuit. With the chained attack any number of armies occupying the special node can attack along a line of network nodes occupied by that player in to an opponents node. Simple network nodes do not have the ability to chain attack them selves are blocked by their own units.

Players start on one of the special chain attacking nodes. These nodes generate a bonus deployment each turn. All other nodes an/or territories are populated with neutral armies.

Bonus deployments are given for holding certain networks among the nodes, Chain attacking nodes, and territories.

Territories are an option as this game can be played strictly among the nodes.

A circuit board could be used instead of a land map.
