Chess - an open challange

Since Tails has started it off and it has the word chess included, let me join in! :D

First challenger gets the Whites.

We write in the short format (standard) using the quotes to keep the thing easily legible. Example:

mandalorian2298 wrote:1. e4

Magnus Carlsen wrote:1. e4 e5

White resigns!

Any takers?

1. Pawn f7 to f6
*for confirmation*: your first move was the pawn in front of the king moving it two spaces forward, correct?

lol. Well whoever you end up playing, mandy, I'll be keeping an eye on this game, to take some pointers. :)

And I stole your record/ledger type deal and tweaked it for my own game. Thanks!!

Right. Do we perhaps have an applicant able to make/recognize a LEGAL first move in a chess game (pawns don't move 3 squares forward)?

Perhaps I miscounted the squares there, my chess program isn't labeled and I can't be assed to whip out my board every time I move. Have at him PCM.

Hey I somehow missed this before I went to bed last night. Sorry. But it looks like you got pcm to step in. :)

Are you sure that you didn't mean Nc3? I mean, if Nb3 is your true move, I'll play Nxe4, but it looks like a typo.

If we do something spectacular here, then sure (with your permission of course ;) ).

Seriously, the biggest impediment that lies in the way of my blog's growth is it's author's laziness. It only has two entries and the last one really didn't do justice to the material (the epic voyage of chess club "Contrada" to their first away game.)
