Ooh! ooh! The Cook, The Thief, His Wife and Her Lover

BANG!

"Cannibal."

Do we have to get the other now? I could probably find it later on.

Aye, it is TCTTHWAHL.
The other was The Draughstman's Contract. A top-5 film.

F***in' Jesus, I bloody knew that was Janet Suzman in the picture, but I couldn't see a likely candidate in her surprisingly short film CV.

OK, here's one. It's another British one. If no-one gets it by the time I get up early tomorrow morning, I will post another pic, which will actually present the literal title of the film in the picture. So anyone seeing it should definitely have a go.

No, not that one, although this is a foreign film too.

Funny I can't picture scenes form The Seventh Seal without thinking of the French & Saunders spoof they did of it - same goes for Misery and The Exorcist - Damn them!

Battleship Potemkin? If that's right (I'm not certain), then that first crucifix picture threw me well off the scent - a crucifix given so much prominence in a Soviet propaganda film? Curious. I can't remember it, I must say.

I will stop talking now, in case I am wrong, and thus have rendered everything I have said pointless.

Ha ha my cunning ploy worked then!

But as strange as it may seem, it did appear in said film - just before the famous scene of the massacre on the Odessa steps.

So your go comrade!

Birth Of A Nation, to be more precise, but you've got it!

When I said a similar theme, BTW, I mean as in "political propaganda", and not that Birth Of A Nation has similar politics to Battleship Potemkin, in case I've puzzled anyone...
