They reproduce the same way humans do, but humans can't tell the difference between male and female so they think they form out of stone.

How old is Frodo in the first chapter of the book?
How old is he in the rest of the book?

Well, he turns 33 (coming of age, and bilbo's age 111 plus frodo's 33 make the "one gross" that bilbo refers to), so I presume the answer is 32, then 33, although I believe he's older when he leaves with the elves.

Oh and Ink, I haven't read the Silmarillion!

Then how are you the only one who gets the answers about it??

A little something called The Red Book of Westmarch.
Loads of references to the Silmarillion in there.

I believe he's 34 when he sets out, and 35 when he gets back.

Can ANYONE answer that without looking it up in the book?

Next question:
Who is Frodo's cousin's father's brother's aunt's third cousin twice removed?

You mean Eowyn?

No, boromir's lament is (I presume) the song where they sing of the winds to bring news of boromir, which ends when Gimli says "you have left the east wind to me, but I shall say naught of it" or something, so the second verse would be sung by Legolas, the first and third being sung by Aragorn.

I think :P

Fools. There's one in my avatar!
The Istari are the wizards sent to Middle Earth, although only 3 are mentioned - Gandlaf, Saruman And Radagast.

I think you're thinking of the Uruk-hai. But maybe not. Are they trolls?

Wow, I can't believe it took so long for people to know who the Istari were...

As far as Olog-hai, I'm going to go with the concept that they're troll-man hybrids, the same way that the uruk-hai were man-orc hybrids (tho I might be confusing events in the movies with events in the books)
