I mean, I'm checking the first guy to see his movies and then trying to connect but I can never end up to the person who I should (especially with 6 moves)

I try to avoid using imdb if I can, but when I come across an actor I'm not familiar with then I will do a quick check. Quite often I find that I actually do know the face - just don't recognize the name - names are definitely not my strong point, my memory being much more visually orientated, which is probably why I seem to do so well in the screen shot thread! :D
Anyway once I have the actor and look down the list of films, I usually spot a few I'm familiar with and then it's back to using the little grey cells, until I come up with a successful string of six or less.

I had to use a touch of the imdb for this one, but like UTM, only really at the outset. With these old actors, the key is really to find a late-career movie, or a connected old-timer with a late-career movie, to really get the ball rolling.

Okay, here we go.

Claudette Colbert was in It Happened One Night with Clark Gable.
Clark Gable was in Run Silent Run Deep with Don Rickles.
Don Rickles was in Casino with Robert de Niro.
de Niro was in Ronin with Natasha McElhone.
Natasha was in The Truman Show with Jim Carrey.
Jim Carrey was in Ace Ventura with Courtney Cox.

Clapton was in Blues Brothers 2000 with Isaac Hayes
and Hayes was in South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut with Matt Stone

(Side note #1: if you ain't seen BB2K, go rent it right now. The grand finale scene is a who's who of legendary blues players, and if you've got any liking for blues music it's utterly worth the price of admission.)

(Side note #2: The Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind ranks right up there among the greatest fantasy novels I've ever even HEARD of. Start with Wizard's First Rule. You won't regret it.)

That said, connect Carol Burnett to Larry the Cable Guy.

Not quite up to the standard of the original Blues Brothers movie I didn't think, but what it lacks in cinematic prowess it more than makes up for in kick-ass tunes!
