As for your question, ill go Ryan Howard, Alex Rodriguez, and Bonds, going for the most recent players. I cant think of any switch hitters at the moment.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nba_finals ... ppearances

that's where i got it. there are 5 teams w/ a 0 in the loss column.

ryan howard wasn't on my list. i guess that's b/c he is in the middle of his third season. but he does have over 100 homers already, so he should count, although not "officially" until the end of this season.

Nevermind my question, stupid book has another typo... im going to burn it tonight...

And im not sure if any of the others were correct that i guessed, or if you counted Howard as 1...

eh, i'm starting to think this question is fucked. it appears that the source counted "the first 3 years" of any players career kind of oddly. thus, McGwire is not on the list b/c the source counts the 1986 season as his first year, even though he only had 53 ABs in 18 games........he won rookie of the year the next season w/ 49 homers, still a rookie record, and imo should be included in this list.....

Pujols also makes it. so now we have ryan howard, mcgwire, and pujols. the other guys on my original (shitty) list were: Joe DiMaggio, old-school Pirate Ralph Kiner, way underappreciated Brave Eddie Matthews, and.....

the question is in honor of the newest big bat for the braves, Mark Teixeira. he also holds the record for single-season RBI for a switch-hitter (144), and the record for crushing the most Met dreams at a trade deadline. see ya in the world series!

GK, i guess you're up. no more NBA questions.....

How about College Basketball?

Only one team in NCAA history has defeated three #1 seeds en route to a national championship. Name it.

Hint: It was achieved in the past decade.

That was actually a really good guess i wouldve never thought of... but no :D

Ill incorporate a big clue to anyone who knows this player but please dont look it up. A member of the team was a freshman who is the current starting PG for the Sacramento Kings.

New question:
In a classic baseball moment, George Brett charged out of the Royals dugout with murder clearly on his mind and had to be intercepted by teammates before he committed umpirecide. The question is, why was Brett so pissed off? (there are a couple pieces of info in particular that I'm looking for here)

He hit a homerun, but the bat he used was not usable because of the length of the bat, it was too big for the standardized rule.

That's the one. Too much pine tar on the bat according to a really obscure rule.

Brett charging out of the dugout is the third-best baseball moment of all time, behind nolan ryan beating the shit out of robin ventura (number 2) and the Angels celebrating on the mound after winning the World Series (number 1).

You're up.

(and yeah, I saw your joke... I set 'em up, you knock 'em down)

But anyway, enough sulking: Name the city that produced the most title teams in a single decade.

And it is a fairly well known sports city.
