Brady Quinn is still having nightmares from the beating LSU put on not a damn last year in the Sugar bowl. ND = most over rated team in college football. Even though I don't like USC they at least win when they play a good team instead of getting spanked like Not a damn does everytime they play a team that isn't playing for the commander in chief trophy

Brady Quinn had no help. Their defense was TERRIBLE, which put all the pressure on Quinn. While I think that the great QB could still win with a terrible defense, Quinn is still a very good QB. He was over-analyzed because he played his senior year, so EVERY game was criticized. Jamarcus Russell is just a one year wonder. He will go nowhere in the NFL, especially on the Raiders.

You talk about pressure? Going to notre dame is enough pressure as it is. Having no defense and having the game always put on your shoulders is even more pressure. It will be quite funny, when Quinn does better than Russell in the pros and everyone says they love quinn just like the leaf vs. manning

Whats even funnier is that Quinn might not even start this year, even with the horrible quarterbacks of the Browns. And pressure? The only pressure they faced is when they went up agaist half decent teams who wrecked them on a regualr basis. ND is a great academic school, but academic schools will never be the best because a lot of the best pro athletes are downright stupid (ex. Michael Vick, Pacman Jones, Randy Moss, Jamal Lewis, etc.)

He chose to go to ND. Only pressure he faced going there is avoiding the embarassment of losing to a service academy team since ND packs their schedule every year with them. Heck ND is dropping Michigan b/c Michigan is making them their little bitch. We'll see how Quinn does in relation to Russell although I loved seeing quinn drop that far. Granted probably a much better situation for quinn then what Russell is going into with Oakland though.

That might be a good thing that Quinn doesnt start. You can't expect a rookie QB to do well, yet alone in cleveland. Even with a QB like drew brees, the browns would still not contend for a playoff spot so its good that Quinn gets to sit back a year and learn the game aka Philip Rivers

Sure, Rivers did great, but remove Tomlinson from that offense and he would've been eaten alive by the defenses. Having 8 men in the box is quite the luxury for a QB...

VY is the most overrated QB right behind Tony Romo. Yes, he did good his rookie year, but he didn't start right off the bat (probably the same with what Quinn will do). Leinart is in a STACKED offense and he too didnt start the season. Cutler, I must admit, did very well for a rookie, but he is also surrounded with talent on offense AND defense.

One of the better O'lines in the nation? They were average at best. When you have a true freshman lining up at tackle thats not that great. How in the world is he afraid of getting hit? He got nailed tons of times in college and got right back up

Russell multiple times avoided sacks last year by being able to have the defensive linemen bounce off of him or at least fling the arm way down the field as he was wrapped up. The man has the strongest arm in the NFL right now accordign to the scouts.

strong arm does not equal successful QB. HE has more potential than quinn, i'll give ya that, but he is not a better pro QB than quinn at the moment

Too bad Not a damn doesn't play a real schedule. Then you would have proof of how tough a qb is. When you only play 4 decent teams a year, most qbs can get up from those hits.
