Of course he was a teammate, every player is a teammate if they play baseball. Do you mean he's a teammate of the player on the Walk of Fame?

And i just checked, in 1935, when Ruth had 714, Foxx had 302, so that is right. I know the other now, but wont answer because i looked it up.

Ok Gold Knight time to prove you wrong.
It is true that Jimmie Fox did have 302 home runs by the end of Babe Ruth's final season. But what you neglected to pay attention to was the detail. Babe Ruth did not finish the 1935 season. His final game was on May 30, 1935. During that 1935 season, Jimmie Fox hit 36 homeruns (not all in the first 30 games of th season). That season put him at 302. So, you GK, are in fact wrong! At the time of Babe Ruth's retirement, Jimmie Fox DID NOT HAVE 300 Home Runs!

You just got verbally owned!

So everybody, Ignore Gold Knights quick assumptions, the answer is still only TWO players, and niether is Jimmie Foxx. And as for my clue, if I must spell it out for you, One player was a teammate of Babe Ruth, and the other player played for St. Louis!

So think before you speak Alex

Well, the teammate is obviously Lou Gehrig (finished in '39 with 393, iirc) as for the Cardinal, i got no idea.
