Conquerclub Mafia! Mods vs. Multis(sign up thread)(13/13)

So, this is my first time running a Mafia. We'll see how it goes!

I'll be assigning people roles based on the staff of CC (so Lackattack, Wicked ect.)
And the "Mafia" will be some of the people who have been busted for diffrent things (Multiple accounts/secret alliances ect.)

Because of the large # of mafias going on right now, I'll wait to start this one until after the Biblical Mafia is finished

The story line, I have yet to develope. If A staff member decides to join, they will not be assigned to thier own part (i.e. Wicked would not be wicked, but she wouldn't necessarily be scum.)

So, let's get it going.

The theme has already been done, which isn't a bad thing. Just make sure to go and read the setup for that game so it isn't a repeat and maybe you can improve on the bad parts.

true, repeating themes aren't bad, but this one kinda is, because everyone has there different opinions on how it should be done which leads to disagreements and such.

I will join, but don't expect me to be very active, its finals week for me, and thats a burden that hinders my mafia game playing.

Oh go on then, but only because you mentioned my mafia.

As it's your first mafia game, something will go wrong.
Here's a tip, pay extra attention to the night actions and how they interact with each other.

not at 43 players for your first game...it will be painful to play...reduce the numbers..work on your setup (your op says you dont even know wats happening) then ask for signups

First warning, 43 players is too much.
Second warning if the set-up is not good people will never forgive you.

Just because you always deadbeated on your games and couldn't keep up doesn't mean everyone can't... ;)

I've got it all figured out now. I've also reduced the # of charecters and have parts written up. so, if people would like to sign up... :D

I'd join if I had the time to donate to mafia... but I still have this to recommend: Your first game really should be something under 20 players. What you have here would still be considered a large game--a completely standard, small game is 9 players. I'm currently running my first game, which started with 14, and I can tell you it's quite a handful by itself.

Yeah I agree with Dito. My first mafia was 27 and it was MURDER to do the post counts since practically everyone was active. Plus night actions and scenes aren't always the greatest.

I was told that 6:1 was a good town:Mafia ratio. That would mean I would have to reduce the Mafia to the very first multis ever busted, and then what? wouldn't they be at a disadvantage? as it is now, I have 4 Mafia and 20 town and 1 third party. should I realy reduce again?

My first game, I didnt even mod it on my own, I co modded it with a freind, and even then it was only 13 players I think.

Not in, Sorry :oops: But I am in too many mafia games anyway. :?

Also, if you want advice, go to an experianced player that does not want to play, never reveil you set up, it is not favoured here ;) I have never seen a open set up here anyway
