Welcome to the Situation Room. I'm Wolf Blitzer, and here is your briefing on what's going on in Washington:
The rich have gotten richer and the poor have gotten poorer, they always say. The midterm elections have just passed, and the people are skeptical on whether the President can reverse the trend and give the people the type of government they deserve. The election, which many are calling a referendum on the President's policies, resulted in a House in Republican control and a Senate still barely in Democratic control. The people want answers, but things are never easy when dealing with the fickle Congress.
A scandal in Washington has shaken the country, after the discovery of over 1000 tons of explosives placed in a hole underneath the White House. Senator Pat Toomey was impeached and convicted of conspiring an overthrow of the United States government, and is sitting on death row as we speak. This has left everyone paranoid to find out who was in on the act. The recently reinstated Un-American Activities Committee of the Cold-War era has been taking people out at Congress' will, and only a fraction of the 535-member Congress remain.
And the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.
Here are the rules for this game. They look like the basic list, but there are changes that are important to your understand of how things work:
1.The moderator is always right. Do not try and argue with them. However we are all human and we all make mistakes. The moderator will try and fix any mistake he or she may have made.
2. Do not edit/delete previous posts. Whatever you say goes into historical record.
3. Do not quote any PM's you receive from the moderator or another player without expressed consent. You may not say your name, role, or associated abilities. This is a serious offence and could earn you a mod-kill, and/or a blacklist from future games.
4. The game will not be discussed outside this thread, unless your role specifically says you can.
*****5. All ‘votes’ and ‘unvotes’ for kills must be in bold and in black. All 'votes' for the general election must be in bold and in red. All others will not count.*****
*****6. Lynching requires at least 51 percent of the votes in the House and 60 percent of the votes in the Senate. When I post vote counts, I will not do one for each house, I simply list the names of who voted for who and the rest you'll have to figure out.*****

8. The day will not end until the lynch vote is satisfied.
9. Nights will last 48 hours. ****There are no night killings, except those done by special ability.*****
10. Once your death scene has been posted, it's over for you. You can no longer post anything related to the game. Whining is alright, **Voices from beyond the grave** are alright, as long as nothing of substance is revealed. This means you can post something like "Damn you Democrats!" or "Oh well. Go Republicans!" but you cannot post and add to the discussion. This is a serious offence.
11. Be attentive and active in the game. You will be replaced if you don't post. If something prevents you to participate for a long period of time, announce it here or via PM. Help everyone's enjoyment of the game by being active and sending your actions promptly.
12. You cannot talk at night. You can do joke votes like "zzzzzz" if you want but don't let it get out of hand.
13. If you have any questions or doubts, send a private message to the moderator and ask for help. It would be much worse to remain unsure about your role, mafia rules, whatever than to ask the moderator and then understand
14. There will be election process for choosing a new President that will be described in the post below this one. Everything in the post following this should be regarded as part of the rules of the game.
