Clue Mafia Rules:
1. This game is moderated by me (Talapus), whatever I say goes. If I make a mistake I’ll do my best to fix it, but feel free to PM and let me know. All roles will be given out randomly.
2. Do not quote any PMs you receive from me. Once the game has concluded, I will post all actions and roles. You may not post your win condition, how many words are in your role PM, or any other kind of way to get around not quoting PMs.
3. If you forget your role, or you delete it, that is your own fault. I suggest not doing either. However feel free to PM if there is any confusion as to what part you play and I’ll try clearing it up.
4. All ‘votes’ and ‘unvotes’ must be in bold and red. If they are not, they will not be tallied. (I.E. Vote: mandy) If you vote two or more times consecutively without an unvote in between them, then the first vote will be the one that gets tallied.
5. Once your death scene has been posted, you are dead. You can no longer post anything revealing or of substance. Whining is alright, **Voices from beyond the grave** are alright, as long as nothing of substance is revealed. Feel free to tell everything once game has concluded.
6. The game will not be discussed outside this thread, unless your role specifically says you may do so(You’ll know if it’s ok).
7. Do not edit/delete previous posts. Whatever you say goes into historical record.
8. Day scenes I write will be informational and somewhat helpful(To the right people). I hope you’ll enjoy the story that you will help make each and every day.
9. Joking in the thread is fine, but don’t let it get carried away and take over as spam.
10. Be attentive and active in the game. If I see you are not posting at all, I will prod all those who are inactive. If there is no timely response, you will be replaced.
11. There is no set time limit per game dday, if things slow down I will impose one.
12. If you have any questions about whether you should or shouldn’t do something, or just need some clarification, feel free to PM me.
13. I would prefer not to have to find replacements, but stuff happens, I realize that. If you could PM me and let me know that you can no longer participate instead of just leaving, that would be great. It’s more enjoyable for the rest of us when everyone plays, so I’ll try to find someone to fill your place.

Ok, now that the basics are cleared up, lets clear up some of the more unusal aspects of this game. The basic premise is that you have all been summoned to this mansion to confront your blackmailer(YES, you are all being blackmailed) and recover the "secret" he has that he is using to blackmail you with(Photos, tape recordings, documents, etc). Because of the fact that you have all been invited, you are all currently town. Murder is a crime of oppurtunity and although you haven't had the oppurtunity yet, you all have a motive to want one or several of the people here dead. So, there are three ways to win this game.
1) You obtain your "secret" by searching for it each night and then help the rest of the townies eliminate the murderers(If there are any). Town Wins....YAY!
2) You let your darker self come out and play and start offing the rest of all the players. Instant SK status though and you must be last one standing to win. SK Wins....YAY!
3) You obtain every other players "secret" through murder and thiefery and are able to walk out of the house and continue blackmailing them. Mafia Wins....YAY!
There are no lynches in this game, but you still get to vote. Every day, you vote for two individuals and two rooms you want them to search that night. Example, Vote: mandy/Search:Library & Vote: icedagger/Search:Kitchen. It may not seem like much, but you all have roles and powers and you once again all have motive to kill people. So whether or not you wish to make someone search a room you plan on hiding in later in hopes to off them, or the doc wants to vote them in the room he's in to save them, or you want them on the complete oppisite side of the house from the room you will be searching in later, the choice is yours. Once you come to a general agreement on what people are searching where, we'll narrow the list down until we have 2 people searching two specific areas and the night will begin. Each and everyone of you then has to pm me and let me know where you want to search that night, but more on this later.
Finally it is no surprise that you are all here under a fake name. I have given you all character attributes you must abide by while playing. You must post at least one from every attribute every game day. If you want to totally jump into your character and use them constantly, that's awesome, but not required. For some of you, your attributes are hard, so give it your best shot and have fun with it. Name claims won't matter much in this game as all of you are currently town and many of you can guess who is who based on their acting. But, role claiming is definitly going to work against you as the game progresses. So be VERY CAREFUL with them.
Besides that, there isn't much else to say. I will clarify other small things throughout the game and based on where the storyline goes. Again, if you have questions, feel free to PM me. That's it all, lets meet the other members at this party and get some muder and mayhem underway!

What is there in the real world that demands so much attention that we, the Mafia community, lose our best players to it's siren song?! How long, I say are we going to tolerate this intolerable, flimsy excuses for failing to contribute to our Mafia community, such as: "I have homework", "I have exams", "I have to pick my children from school" or "I have to run from an angry bear". When, I say, will young people of our time finally realize that excuses and I'm-doing-my-best attitude is not enough!? Have we learned nothing from Sir Sean Connery's character in "The Rock"??!!
