Ok, I'm back. With this deadline, we really need to decide whether or not we are going to lynch, DK, or save victor. Personally, I'm thinking lynch. If he saves himself, lynch him again. With the deadline so close, if we DK him then we would be stuck with having to make a hurried lynch right afterward (potentially getting a townie lynched)

Don't ask me why he claimed mpjh, the only logical reason, I can think of is that he was hoping the cult recruiter would counterclaim.

It makes no sense though, why would a recruiter counterclaim a townie? I could see a recruiter counterclaiming a town role, but I don't see the logic in doing it the other way around.

I can't figure out why Victor would lie about it, but I agree that if we're going to lynch him for it, we shouldn't waste two lynches on him. It wouldn't be the end of the world if we DK'ed him and didn't get an actual lynch today; but if we lynched and he saved himself today, we'd have to lynch him again tomorrow -- and the risk of this is that we'll get new information by then which indicates a bigger threat to the town.
Still, while town wouldn't necessarily have an obvious motive to lie about their character name, I don't see why it's evidence that he's cult that he did lie.
