ill admit i thought we were closer to winning than losing given what militant was claiming about the investigations. In my mind id figure wed lynch flores, either get a win or wed be 1 scum with 4 to play, id commute, sierra would miss me if he was the scum remaining, and then we would just lynch him and be done with it.

Tell me SL, why did you come up as town, you the godfather?

Yup, I started out as an untrackable goon, but got unlocked as godfather when exile was night-killed (ga7 told me this wouldn't have happened if he was lynched). What you should be asking yourself is: why did Fircoal come up as town? My guess is you never investigated Fircoal, but mixed him up with someone else.

Frenchie-chan told me why during one of the days. Shadow had busdriven me.

Amidst the chaos that Kwan's departure had caused, a handful of people were trying to take control of the situation. Flores had caught Sierra red-handed, claiming that he never had a gun, and was on his way to buy a metal detector to prove his point when Tonka interjected, saying her poor little students could never do anything harmful. Fircoal, who was beyond anyone's suspicion so far, took advantage of the fact Mili had gone to investigate further to suddenly show her support for firing Flores.

However his sense of justice would not allow himself to just leave the scene when evil was before his eyes. He drew his katana and attacked Sierra.


While Flores' skills could be sufficient to take anyone on 1vs1, facing so many opponents at once proved to be impossible. He was tied and the rest started to discuss how to get rid of him:

-We could hang him, old-school?
-Oh come on, we're not barbarians. What about putting him to sleep?
-He's not a dog...
-Hey I know, why doesn't Sierra just put a bullet through his head? Clean and painless!
-*cough, cough* Yeah, about that... *grin*

Knives and other sharp weapons slowly started to get out of Sierra's body, levitated in the air for a while and swiftly went through Flores' tied body.


FloresDelMal - Saito Hajime aka The Wolf of Mibu - Vigilante has been executed!

Arriving at the scene, Mili realized she was too late. She was still getting used to control her artificial body, and couldn't count on her regular physical prowesses. Sierra dealt with her instantly.


The brutal loss of control caused by the "death" of her remote body made Militant enter in a cyber-coma. No one at her office took notice that her investigation had ended, being too busy toying with Tachikomas

Seeing this, Tonka ran out as fast as he could out of the high school, and saw her family's car waiting for her. She quickly got aboard:

-They're after me! Get to home, quick! If I call on my family's help they will take care of these punks!
-Your usual driver couldn't make it.I'm a friend of Fircoal.

Gasping, Tonka realized her driver was none other than a tall yakuza-looking guy she had never seen before.

-Where are you taking me?!

Back in the high school, Sierra and Fircoal were already celebrating their victory in a way that wouldn't get past censorship:

-So honey, we are now in full control of Seigaku High, what was it for again? I was distracted during the game
-It's simple my little blob of universe, today this highschool, tomorrow the city, and then the WORLD! BWAHAHAHAHAHAH!
But that is another story, which will be told in Anime Mafia 2!

First of all thanks everyone for playing, I hope y'all had fun. I must admit I was a bit disappointed by the general activity (55 pages for this kind of game feels a bit ridiculous) but ah well.

I'll post the roles and actions tomorrow, for now after completing my first big game I'd like to post credits

I dont particularly see how the lover part was relevant, i was recruited to be one earlier and by the time you had made the case about kwan i was already leaning toward SL being the one who wasnt lying.

About the Tonka mess up, well as a matter of fact it wasn't about a call on guts feeling or who was seeming scummier. I hadn't foreseen that consequence but lovers had as condition that they couldn't target each other with their night action and couldn't vote themselves; but could break up at any time during day publicly. Tonka was the last lover on the town side, so I assume he didn't pay any attention/didn't read as it was making it impossible for Flores to have done the Kwan kill That reminded me a bit of the godfather game where town had all the chances in the world to win but were too moronic/lazy to grab it What have we come to?!
Anyway I really thought town had it when Sierra claimed 3-shot vig, it was a pretty ballsy move. I suppose the SK not killing anyone had thrown you off and you didn't expect Flores to call your bluff Well done for pulling it off

Mod notes: The locked role was a detail, to fit the character flavor if he was becoming the leader (both GF and Goon dead) he could make an inactive vig kill the target for him. Mind control FTW! Trigun is a classic, great sci-fi western theme and attaching characters. That one is one of the most badass villains.

Mod notes: I had originally pondered about making this one a traitor if he was becoming lover with another ♥ character in the day 3 event, but dropped it at the end. I don't like the classic traitor role and making a working one would have required too much brainstorming Might have messed up the balance too. Excel Saga is pretty much my favorite comedy, full of non-sense and parody, though it might be a bit too otaku-oriented.

Mod notes: He was becoming Backup GF if GF was killed before day 3, if GF still alive at day 5 he would automatically become usurper. Of course he lost the untrackable status there. I wonder why no one thought of an usurper, I love that role It was kinda hard to figure out a cool goon character as more often than not they suck and die quickly, that one wasn't quite fitting the usurper part either but was to reflect he only really cared about fighting strong opponents. GetBackers is a pretty decent anime, kinda classic "omg we have powers let's use them for goodz" but entertaining enough.

Mod notes: tailor-made for Kalish At least the flavour. I never liked regular survivors much, thought I'd toy with the reverse copier concept for that one. If several people were targeting him on an off night, the power he would get was determined by random.org. He could be killed only the night after he absorbed a power. In case he was deciding to be useful I was giving him for flavor a different appearance from another character of the same anime the character who targeted him was, allowing him to realize if someone was fakeclaiming. Would have to ask Kalish if he had fun with the role in any case, I think it ended up interesting.
Now for the lock part... If LSU was targeting him any night he would become SK Helper. LSU wouldn't know he was now his ally, but he could give him one-shot powers like bulletproof (for the night), investigation-proof, bypass of doc protection... Could then win with LSU, kinda like a nerfed second mafia.
On the flavor, I picked Envy purely for the copying appearance part. It was funny to see Kwan find a fitting explanation for the survivor part too xD

Mod notes: Classic SK except for the luck part if he was targeting Kalish. This is probably my favorite character of my favorite anime. Berserk is great. Medieval theme, awesome story, works on many levels and great characters. The manga is the best too... I was sad that LSU didn't manage to kill anyone (though he helped on Pancake) In the anime this character is a good guy, but that is slaying so much people that he's losing himself to his "beast", thought I could expand on that and make him an insane killer.

Mod notes: Dunno why people never made the link with roleblocking, I always saw this role with this side effect. Not that Pancake used it too much in any case.
He had a hidden lock related to getting lovers with Kwan in the day 3 event, since they were the only characters from the same anime in the game. Alucard is one of the coolest characters ever made. Hellsing is a pretty nice vampire-themed anime, but the OVAs just blow my mind. A must see for fans of gore.

Mod notes: I always found busdrivers a bit overpowered when they can target themselves, but needed an incentive for him to use his powers every night, hence the vote thing. Busdriver always makes it more fun and messy. Totoro is known enough outside of the anime culture... Better than any disney for sure.

Mod notes: The flavour was based more on what kind of actions and the appearence of the target. The role wasn't used much though between the roleblocks and bad targets. Hunter X Hunter is a cool anime, think Naruto in way more intelligent and better rythm.

Mod notes: Besides getting a result from Mili if he died, if it happened before day 3 he would have become a backup cop that investigates every other night. Else that role was pretty much a pain in the ass for me, it was all through random.org. First the degree of accuracy was processed, 33% chances for flavour info, mixed info, and actual player name; then 33% chances to see if it was about a player, an action or a place related to a player. As luck as it, it mostly fell on actions which means I had to count them to process them. Ugh... Not sure if that role was any good as soft investigative role, ah well. Lain is another classic, one of the few that seemed to be designed for comp geeks at the time. Cyberpunk settings ftw!

Mod notes: I putted the priest part for flavour as the character spends his time trying to not hurt anyone, but I kinda forgot about it and didn't pay any attention. Maybe XG should have been modkilled, not sure lol. Anyway Monster is a realist thriller with a plot that starts kinda like The Fugitive, and let me say if it was a tv show it would be one of the very best out there. Kinda long but keeps you hooked from beginning to end, I'd recommend it as a first anime, mostly because it's so similar in appearence to regular shows that there wouldn't be culture gap.

Contrary to what your name or looks might indicate, you are a lady, under the authority of the Queen of England as the head of the local vampire-slaying association. That's behind you though- you're in holidays in Japan! But as luck has it, an old friend asked you to step in as Seigaku High's Chairman. Your overblown sense of duty had you accept when you heard there were strange happenings in that school. It is now up to you to deal efficiently with these poor little students.

As the fucked-up introductor of the lynching system in this particular setting, you have the power to stop a lynch - albeit your own. If town is too lazy to get a lynch done, you will also have the responsability to designate the day's lynch. If you have to resort to this too often, bad consequences might follow for you however, like becoming hated by everyone.
To help the game stay smooth, I would appreciate if you PM me whenever someone looks about lynched with your choice, so that we can avoid too big delays.

Mod notes: Could become hated if he caused 3 townies to die during the game. I almost counted Ace there, seriously lol. At the beginning it was just designed because I wanted deadlines and hate no lynchs; of course I knew Kwan would make interesting He ended up killing half the town but it provided much of the comic relief, at least for me. I think it worked fairly well anyway. I should have been more clear so that if people voted no lynch it would actually end up a no lynh though. If by chance he became lovers with Pancake/Alucard on day 3, he could have chosen between making him a personal bodyguard or a faithful lover. I don't know how many of these twists I putted for flavor that didn't happen, bah.

Mod notes: The original comic relief role, if he was actually investigated he would have turned into a reverse jester. Take that, biatch If he ended up getting lynched, I would have let him stay town anyway. School Rumble is one of the best of the unnumerable highschool comedies out there, mostly based on "misunderstandings" and situation comic, it's hilarious.

There were if I recall well 5 warriors (the ones with ×), 5 lovers (the ones with ♥) and two who had both. That influenced some minor twists, the chances/participations at the event and 2 minor mechanisms: the ♥ couldn't be roleblocked before day 3 (since the important ones were the two docs and the roleblockers and I realized with 4 potential NKs in the first nights a nerf was kinda needed); the × who were mostly the killers couldn't make their action properly if they were targeted by another warrior before day 5. Could have ran pretty much the same without I think, all protective roles did a great work preventing at least one kill each. Admittedly the events part was the weaker of the game, and didn't attract much interest which makes me think it was a good thing to put some roles at mandatory participation, but also that I shouldn't have bothered with it altogether ><
