I'll get straight to it because I know you all are waiting for it: I investigated crazyirishguy last night and I'm still pondering my clue. However, for the time being I'd like him to claim because my clue seems to imply that he's not aligned with town or scum, and is possibly a survivor.
Well looks like you're wrong... dodgy cop.
Well, I'm not a cop and that's why I didn't speak in absolutes. I got a clue, and from that clue I could tell that something was suspicious about him, but I realized I overlooked an important part of it... I looked at the content of the quote but didn't check who said it.
Still, if I were trying to cover for him, wouldn't I have claimed he was town? Furthermore, why in hell would I throw another scummate under the bus by bringing suspicion on him?
And besides, I was right (from page 45):

Judging from the behavior of known scum this game, (and this is me metagaming here) I'd say that the last scum or two is most likely to be among more inactive members or those who replaced inactive members around the middle of the game. That said, top of the list is crazyirishman who I'm not sure is ever around here anymore.
Ok, you did not die, so our dr. protected you. I think you need to claim. you are in no harm and would really help out your cause.
Alright, I suppose it makes sense to make a formal claim at this point. I am a Barkeep and I gain information about a player of my choice each night in the form of a quote.
As I explain this next part, keep in mind that I'm not allowed to quote my PMs. Anyway, I'm not told what these quotes mean, but they each have a connection to the role of the player. For instance, I was given an old saying about telling venomous snakes from lookalikes for deathcomesrippin. The reference to venom and red I found are the pointers to his alignment.
This last clue, the hint was not in the content but who said it: a gangster. It was a silly oversight on my part, but up until then the source of the quote had not been particularly important. Live and learn, I guess.
@Nag - Ah, sorry I misunderstood you. I didn't mean to sound too defensive, but I gotta keep the heat off my back. I'm a pro-town hero after all.
