Stop complaining about it and come up with points of discussion, posting "Oh man this is going slow" isn't going to get people to fire into a conversation you need to actually come up with a reasoned point that others can support or otherwise react to.

unvote vote AA

You do raise a valid point, but it's difficult to make a reasoned point when nobody's posting and there's nothing to go off of.

I guess I did allow the first valid point in the game to be raised, improving the activity of the game. So, in a way, I got what I wanted, but 3 votes on me was not what I expected.

Mr Artemis, perhaps you should say something in your defense. None, save I, have hinted at our character as of yet. Surely if you are at least a peer, we will retract our disapproval. Our forbearance is contingent upon the consequence of your departure.

Wow, four votes on me, and all I did was request more activity from players. There had been only one post in the last 35 hours since that post, and I wanted to speed up the game.

Note to self: In future games, when people are lurking on Day 1, lurk with them.

It would have helped if you didn't just bitch about people not adding anything useful while not adding anything useful yourself.

Woah? You want him to claim for not contiributing significantly to the game, there are plenty of other people who are worse in this category. I was merely proving a small point and it is nothing to have to claim over.

It seems you are just bandwaggoning and don't care about the reasons behind it.

I am holding off on a claim for now, because pmc, who from what I see is one of the most experienced players on the site, disagrees with Nate about claiming. Since there is a disagreement about whether I should claim, I will ask the following noob question:

When is it a good idea to claim, and when is it a bad idea?

Now, I will discuss what I think about each player. Nobody really stands out as scum, but if anyone is just bandwagoning without caring about the reasons, it is probably Flores, who just voted for me because I'm the only bandwagon in town. FoS: Flores

LSU will seem suspicious to me if he doesn't comment about the situation by tomorrow, because he first voted for me as a joke, and now is just leaving the vote on me without commenting about the situation. I have to give him more time to get online and post, though, before I start making assumptions.

I don't find Nate particularly scummy at this time, because he is explaining all his reasoning, and his reasoning seems logical.

This is what I got from each player's posts:
ace1217- Lurking
LSU Tiger Josh- Voted for me yesterday and hasn't posted since.
FloresDelMal- Voted for me because there is "nothing better going on"
icedagger- Hasn't posted since Tuesday.
pmchugh- Was the first vote against me but now thinks Nate is acting scummy for pushing me to claim.
Minister Masket- Posted a non-useful post. Is not commenting about the current situation.
ga7- Lurking
Thezzaruz- Is commenting but is not pushing for my lynch.
Natewolfman- Voted for me, and wants me to claim. Is providing reasoning for every action.
Nzen- Posts very wordy posts using big and hard to understand words. Apparently wants me to claim.

By the way Nate, you shouldn't have to worry about someone hammering me for no reason, because if they do, they are scum.

Unvote, because my vote was a random vote.

To clarify my noob question in the previous post, I know that random no-reason claims are usually a bad idea. I also know that most people claim under pressure. However, pmc seems to be against me claiming.

What I want to know is this: If I am at L-2, when should I claim?

usually i never claim before being at L-1, but is your choice if you want to play it safe, still i dont think you are at L-2 anymore, is more like L-3 which in a game this size is not too bad; and is day 1 and the game have not runned long enough for start to fish scum, light up.

Depends on the size of the game and how close the deadline is. You do not need to claim here as their is not sufficient evidence against you, however should the town continue to hunt you then a claim may be neccesary, if your at L-1 then you definately should claim. Your doing the correct thing stating your thoughts on the game and waiting to see if people unvote.

This gives me the overall impression you are town.

Fair enough nate, unvote although I think a few more people need to explain why they voted for ace, and nothing better going on is a very poor reason flores [-X

AceArtemis, 6 votes; , LSU Tiger Josh, Natewolfman, Flores, ga7, ace1217, pmchugh Lynched

Ten little Townies went out to Dine,
One chocked himself and then there were Nine

The group had all sat down for dinner, when a voice had echoed throughout the room
Each and everyone had been accused by this voice of no less than murder, at this time they panicked and decided that the best course of action was to go out and kill someone. Accusations flew around the house as people went to and from the rooms,
The Judge has become impatient, rallying for bloodshed, this led to others accusing him of being the host in the first place, after an argument, the judge finally seemed to draw attention away from himself, a voice of an uninvited guest concluded otherwise, "Ah no, through the use of the little gray cells, I have concluded you are the only one capable of setting this up."
at this accusation two women, one old and one younger, grabbed the justice and proceeded to strangle the life out of him.

AceArtemis Justice Lawrence Wargrave, serial killer, has been lynched

After the party was picked up again by the boat after a few days, The group agreed not to discuss the circumstances of the justice's death (and their own respective horrible secrets) and went on to proceed with their lives.

Game over, town wins
Icedagger General John Gordon Macarthur, reverse jester has lost
Floresdelmal Anthony James Marston, survivor/roleblocker has won

other notes
Just a few parts of roles that the players weren't told, all other roles on front page, and yes I did randomize the killing role, it's just a coincidence that the justice was assigned the killing role
ace1217, Emily Caroline Brent, also hated townie, one less vote required for lynch
LSU Tiger Josh, William Henry Blore, naive cop, Would only get scum result if investigating Thezzaruz
Thezzaruz, Edward George Armstrong, Doctor, was not informed he would turn up scum if investigated by either cop.
