I can't tell if vodean's last vote on edoc is serious or not. If it is, that's not much of a reason...

strike wolf wrote:Mr. squirrel tends to give fake claims and in a 11 player game there is room for a couple good fake claims. you're also cooling yourself if you can't guess possible roles to go with claims. deciphering which claims are the strongest is a two way street it gives town a better idea who is telling the truth and mafia a better idea of who to kill and role block or even frame. so yeah I'm gonna go with it would be insane to mass claim right now.

DiM wrote:well if we are to do this right, we need to set a time when we're all online, make a list of all people in the game and randomise it, then in that random order we make the claims (without the actual roles). this should make it really hard for mafia to fakeclaim, unless somehow they end up being the last on that random list.

yeah this would work too.
the idea is that we should not let the mafia claim when they want (last).

that's really confusing, I don't really care for it, and who's to say hiw the shuffle turned out unless the person streams it live?
I'm indifferent to mass claiming, I suppose either way it would increase my own odds for survival since both factions would have more targets to guess at, so it wouldn’t be bad for me, but strike might have a valid point... perhaps?
I personally was not given a fake claim in Briarsburg, and I was a consultant for Sweeny Todd mafia, and I do not remember discussing fake claims, so I'm not totally sure where strike is coming from.
But why not ask the mod himself?
MR. S Did any players receive fake claims written by you?

But if they claim last, we can just lynch the last x number of players until we win.

So voldymort starts, than picks who he wants to claim second, etc?

no. obviously not. my role is not one of them, so i know they arent. i was just saying to those who were wondering how many emotions there are and that this may make it difficult for mafia to fake-claim.
why are you so aggresive?
