If jonty is silenced and can only post a few times he may be waiting to see what happens before he makes any comment. The fact that he has posted elsewhere indicates he could be scummarining or be just waiting. So, only thing I can think of doing is to place some pressure in his direction and hope he gets the message ... so vote jonty

Can't really criticise you for skimming if Crazy also skimmed.

/, what other kind of pressure are you looking for? I already stated that I don't have an item, which can be verified by the role cop. You're grasping at straws and I don't know what else you're trying to achieve.

Hmm ... a little bit sensitive there. You are saying the same thing I said but you sound all defensive on it. Not sure what that's about. I get your point about the Epi case. Any other suggestions or are you just cruising to night?

Well I thought you were saying: "Oi, jonty, you just skimmed but crazy skimmed as well, but you still skimmed" and I felt that was pretty unfair because I felt the accusation was, I used the mod's VC, rather than my own, so therefore skimmed..

I already said, not having an item is weird for this game, if you are nothing, we don't lose much by lynching you, if you are a the thief, (who based on the scene info we have also gives town items away to scum, probably not by using an item of his own) we have much to gain by lynching you.

And you still haven't put forward any cases today, making your potential objective town to scum value even less.
Neb makes a good point that the people who had the item immediately after it was stolen could be a decent lead too though, but unless the votes shift more, I am still comfortable with your lynch.

I would like a claim from Epi

I suspected Epi a lot on D2 and a little on D1. That's why I checked him out last night and the fact that he didn't have an item lead me to believe he was town. Also it made me believe he couldn't be a thief. However I could have been blocked or something like that.

Postby Epitaph1 on Thu Aug 02, 2012 7:40 am

Alright, let me make this clear: I am not a thief and I am not mafia.

Without quoting my role pm, I can tell you that I am townie and that I was basically told to wait-and-see re: items. So, I've been under the impression this whole game that I will eventually be acquiring an item. I don't have any abilities, although I was not giving any title other than telling me that I am town.

Has anyone followed me anywhere. No. That's because I haven't gone anywhere.

/ accuses me of not putting forward any cases today. Let's review D3: 1) / came out of the gates and has been all over me since dawn broke and I've had to consistently fend off his/her questions and 2) we've had the WT debacle, which I continually weighed in on, trying to spot the scum. I still don't know who, if anyone, is mafia between the four who were duking it out and I'm not so reckless as to just vote one when I really can't distinguish who is more likely to be scum. I wanted to vote you-know-who for being an impediment, but I'm fairly confident that she was/is town.

I'm not really sure where / wanted me to fit a case in on D3. One strike against me so far is that I don't have any night actions, so I don't have the luxury of getting results during 1/2 the phases of the game. I accuse / of persistently pushing for a mislynch and it's OMGUS. I build a case of jonty and it's going after the low-hanging fruit of an inactive player again. I weighed in on the WT debate as much as I could without being reckless and before it went completely down the toilet. I knew Daz was gone and people said SG7 was gone, so that takes care of them. Zimmah has supposedly being "cleared" by a misplaced cop result. And would anyone like to build a case against hippo? Yeah, I don't see one there either (at least not yet).

/ suggests that I am of little value to the town. This is crap. To assert that I have diminished value for lack of item assumes that I will never have an item. As I stated earlier, I have good reason to believe that I will be receiving an item. Seeing how it is already D3, I suspect that it will come sooner than later. /'s argument that I haven't put forth any cases could be said about most of the players in this game.

I submit that, at the least, jonty provides less value to the town than me. Vacation aside, he hasn't contributed very much to this game at all. (Here's your case for ya, /.)

D1: He just pokes his head in and out of the game, not really saying much and finally voting happyfeet with his first real vote.
D2: Chimes in with a couple of one-liners and then votes for vodeon after vodeon's major faux pas vote on hippo. However, he buys vodeon's claim hook line and sinker and describes her role as "a bit powerful to lose." And that's the last that we hear from him until he gets back from vacation (although he had apparently been back for a few days before he made it into this game).
D3: Gets back, again doesn't contribute much, if anything, to everything that has happened. 22 pages have passed since jonty has last chimed in and the best he can surmise is that there the game has been flooded with "murky waters." Has a little back and forth about hippo about whether or not jonty's been skimming.

And that, folks, is jonty's entire game in a nutshell. I understand that he's been away for part of the game, but even when he's here, he hasn't contributed very much. He voted for vodeon and then accepted her claim without question. Comes back to a game twice the size as when he left it and only describes the events as "murky waters."

If I had to pick one person to be scum or 3rd party, it would be jonty. I couldn't make a case like this against him while he was away or it would have been suspicious as hell. But he's back now, and still not contributing.

Let me live for tonight at least to see if I can get an item. One has to be coming, or CMS just likes to get my hopes up so he can crush them.

Finally, vote jonty

Very poor reason of accusing /. Not only is OMGUS, it's WIFOM.

I was on holiday, and did say in the VT. Not much else I could do. But you do acknowledge this.

Agreed, fair comment.

It's D1, the case on happyfeet, is lynch the inactive. I don't think I could have said too much more.
D2: I had no reason not to believe the claim. A multiple shot reviver is overly powered. I suppose the 50/50 was very well bluffed with the herbs.
D3: Well I don't think I said it was flooded but there was a lot hot air been puffed about mainly from Yomiel which certainly didn't help matters.

About me not posting here, when I returned. I thought I was dead, after dying in /'s rolegift mafia and I thought I was dead in this one as well. (got the two mixed up)

Slightly harsh comment about CM5 there.

I would like to ask Epi. Are you expecting an item to fall into your lap? Because this is the indication I'm getting; but that isn't standard thief. So you've confused me a little there.

it would make sense for a thief to be in the game and also for a thief not to have any items. i also don't really believe he has got no item all this time, while the title of the game is too many items.

A man is walking down the street at 4:35 a.m.

Said man sees another man walking. something that has never happened.

The other man pulls out what appears to be an axe and starts running towards the other man.

Oh sh!t

The man with the axe swings it straight across the other mans chest.

luckily, this happened right outside of a waking doctors house. and the doctor ran out. and saved the mans life.

Nobody has died!

anyway, i recieved a baseball bat tonight, i will not use it as i don't think it's beneficial to town. I don't know for what reason i received it. but i can use to to silence someone, if i chose to silence someone, he won't be able to post the next day, except for 4 posts. next to that i also have my own role.

by the power of my previous role, which i will not claim right now, i have some info on someone, and therefore, i will ask a question to /. refusal to answer or if i get the idea you're lying will definitely result into a vote from me, and likely the rest of town too. so answer this wisely. as that would imply you are covering the one i have information on, and by extension yourself.
