not necessarily. It could be given as a "safe" name claim and the char George could be nonexistent really.

I know nothing about the story of HP so I can't answer that. I've seen like 2 of the movies because my girlfriend made me watch em when they first started coming out, but that's it so all my theories are shots in the dark.

Maybe the phoenix has a hidden agenda? Perhaps he's Dumbley's (somewhat resentful) slave? Maybe it's a magic spell controlling him? Dumbley created the bird to protect him?

I dunno, it seems like I should be town but I'm not the mod or the person who wrote the story so I've got no answers for you, sorry.

I won't NK you Kalish, Kwan is higher on my list right now. But the whole thing doesn't make much sense from a gameplay point of view.
I think I just figured out something and believe it's more important to lynch Tal today anyway...

My pm seriously doesn't say anything about stealing wands in it... What would it benefit me to lie, even if I'm scum?

It sounds more to me like it's just an inconsistency in my specific pm then anything else.

Actually im gonna have to ask to be replaced. Im likely to be without a computer for quite some time in the relative future (or at least wont have access often) so i wont be able to play in any games.

However since i might as well help the town im Hagrid, who does not have any powers of note.

Hagrid? Damn I was sure you were Luna (which no one claimed, was mentioned in a scene and seemed to be a pretty important character)...

Anyway I'm not too comfy with the Kalish lynch because I'm certain with all this Tal is scum, and not as certain with Kalish. There is no other sibling, and if we're lucky (not counting Kwan as possible third party) he might be the last deatheater.

My theory is that your pm does mention your ability to steal wands, but you incorrectly assumed it's a scum only ability and therefore pretended not to know about it.

It fits the story. Fawks isn't a wizard and therefore belongs to neither side. But, he is loyal to Dumbledore and he has the power to cure fatal wounds with he's tears. Finally, being a phoenix, he 'recharges' his power by combusting (dying for a day) and then being reborn (as is shown in "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets") Thus, this is either a great role by Freezie or a great lie by Kalish.

In my oppinion, the reasons for lynching Kalish are outweighted by the possible gain from not lynching him.

Dustn : Since this could make you practicaly imprevius to death, I suggest that you investigate Kalish. Also, it would be kind of nice if you would share with us the results of your first two investigations. :wink:

Then syzygy will be revealed as scum.

And you guys are guaranteed the win with one more scum down. (I'm assuming there's not more than 5 or 6 max in a game this size)

And regarding the kalish thing, I don't believe him one bit. As town I know that I didn't have a power before I stole that wand from mandy (which I will be targetting syz with tonight, taking away his vote and night power for tomorow so if you think he's town you guys better lynch me today.)

I suspect that no one has a power without a wand. Which would make sense because wizards need wands to do magic. Besides the one shot protection that he has as a survivor, there's also another slipup. In the rules, it says that everyone who doesn't have a wand can steal one. How in the hell would a pheonix use a wand? I think everyone in this game would be a wizard who could steal and use a wand. Kalish said he could "make" one meaning he didn't already have one and could steal.

Here's what I think:
Either:
There are no Weasly twins in this game. Just Ron and Ginny. Whoever claimed George is scum and lying which is why there is no Fred. And if this takes place during book 7, Fred and george left hogwarts in book 6 so they wouldn't be there. I won't spoil why. If this is the case, then syz is probably something like a SK or third party and kalish and talapus are your last scum. Or any combination of the three.

or:
Talapus is telling the truth and Fred wasn't around during the timeframe of when this takes place. I haven't read the 7th so I dunno. If this is the case, then you have two scum in the forms of kalish and syzygy.

Exile claimed Fred, and not being a sibling with Tal. There's no other twin. I still think this is the one guaranteed scum.
Btw, the jester act is just a WIFOM you're putting now. If you were convinced Syzygy was scum, you wouldn't try to get lynched yourself. I think whoever has the cop wand should investigate either Kalish or Syzygy tonight, then we'll see clearer the next day.
