It fits the story. Fawks isn't a wizard and therefore belongs to neither side. But, he is loyal to Dumbledore and he has the power to cure fatal wounds with he's tears. Finally, being a phoenix, he 'recharges' his power by combusting (dying for a day) and then being reborn (as is shown in "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets") Thus, this is either a great role by Freezie or a great lie by Kalish.
In my oppinion, the reasons for lynching Kalish are outweighted by the possible gain from not lynching him.
Dustn : Since this could make you practicaly imprevius to death, I suggest that you investigate Kalish. Also, it would be kind of nice if you would share with us the results of your first two investigations.
