DON'T mention it in order to get town cred, but if you protected someone tonight, there's a chance that that someone was targeted by mafia. That means that you can safely assume that the person you protected is non-mafia (can't rule out third party). Anyway, you can lean towards that person (but do it secretly).

Why does it sound scummy to hand them out? Do you find that Dega's choices of handing them to Josh and me is a bad choice? Do you feel that using it on actorday was unwarranted?

I do feel like there was better options than actorday in my opinion. We had a slight idea actorday was some sort of messenger

I don't think that handing out shanks could ever be a scum role. They would just give them to their scum buddies and get two kills per night. It is something that can make the game extra "swingy", but that's likely to be the case anyway when everyone has a power role.

I gave the first one to Ragian because I thought he was town, and had the experience to use it wisely. I couldn't be sure, but after already losing our Doctor and Detective, I decided it was worth the risk. Maybe I was wrong.

Not sure that I agree with actorday as a target, so I've been looking to see if there was any reason to suspect Ragian. There have been a couple of things he's said that I thought he should have known better, but nothing I could build a case on. I've also been thinking about there being no mafia kill last night. One possibility is that they targeted cd (unlikely, since it was obvious he was due to be mod-killed) or actor. If there was nothing else that could have prevented a kill, then that would explain it, and at the same time confirm that Ragian is not mafia. (unless this is all part of their plan, but that may be too much wine, even for me)

But I think it's more likely that the mafia were blocked somehow, and I'll have to keep Ragian as not 100% confirmed town.

I also believe at this point degaston is town and i also have darrin, pershy and dukasaur in that category.
Not sure about dunk. If he made that fazer and according to mafia.gg he should be Electrician, then he's town, otherwise i don't know.

So at this point i would be willing to vote same as the people i trust to be town.

Sorry, my mistake. We had only lost the doctor at that point, but I didn't go back and check when I made that post. After 28 pages, a lot has happened.
In any case, I still thought Ragian was the best combination of townieness and experience at that point.

You're being polemic now. Of course it wasn't meant to hurt town. I just got it wrong. You have no problem with Fusi killing off Loose Canon, right? The only difference here is that I got it wrong. My experience with mafia and newbies led me to believe that actorday was indeed scum. Yes, I got it wrong, but I will maintain - even in the noose - that I made a decent choice based on the intel available to me.

There are some things that I don't quite understand and need everyone's take on. It specifically mentions Chana and then he was murdered. I don't know what to make of that. Also, it says that Chana could have received powers unlike me. Does that mean that I can't receive powers? Any thoughts? I'm seriously at a loss here.

It was about what happened on day 2.
I was fully wrong about halrob, after fusibaseball telling he was responsible for Loose Canon's death (because somebody saw him to do it) he was the first vote for halrob, but quickly I felt like everybody was trusting fusibaseball without any doubt ... and then he wrote:

I think these 3 from my above group are, by this point, ACTIVELY suspicious through their contribution of zero to game, vacuous/meaningless posts, and reluctance to vote:

2) Dukasaur
3) General Bax

These 3 I find to be more believable and are mostly who I'm looking at to get the vote through for Halrob:
1) joshzam
2) TheJMac
3) actorday

And if I'm still here Day 3, I'll be pleasantly surprised but I at least want Town to have some names to go off Day 3 if Halrob flips Mafia (of course, this would all be after getting out Pepe who has declared himself).

So I was afraid somebody could kill me that night, and I asked (to Raz) and he told me if I was 'visiting' somebody and other person kill me, then the guy I am visiting will see though. So, who I trusted?

Holy cow lots of deaths. Looks like maybe a 3rd party has killed a mafia member for us? Also looks like we got some duplicate rolls that can hush people, from what I can tell that's a mafia role when I look it up? Correct me if I'm wrong. Anyone got any useful information to share? Going to be really hard to lynch someone with 3 people quiet and needing 10 votes I must say.

It seems there were no mafia kills - so far like most of you I have trusted josh until now - he always seems to be investigative to me. But he could be fooling us as well - he's a good mafia player.
Anyway I still wanna trust him - but I was just wondering if there was no mafia kill cause HE tried to make the kill and couldn't cause he targeted pixar or got silenced. Anyway it's a crazy idea - but I'm just putting it out there and have to mull it over and see if it's plausible.
