I'm moving house guys, can only check internet at work when I'm not busy, so don't expect great deals of input from me in the coming weeks (takes 2-3 weeks to get it connected ugh).

There appears to be a lot of role claiming going on, I can't follow it all at the moment, but it looks like a lot of stories are being told... any holes in any of them?

I must say that that is an inventive fake claim. One slight problem is that I am an inventor. You know this because I gave you an investigation last night, that I created on night 1. So you probably did use an investigation on stroke and he probably did come up as human.

I can invent
1. Cure attempt 1. May not be succesful.
2. Cure attempt 2. May not be succesful.
3. Vampire detector. A simple test that reveals vampires for what they are. (INVESTIGATION)
4. Stake gun. Allows a player to kill vampires (and others) (KILL)

I created the vampire detector night one and gave it to stroop last night.

On a side note I am also an enabler of some sorts but I dont know any further into that. I am called Professor Jenkins.

Stroop is scum

I have some question to you.

If you create the detector, and gave it to Stroop., what do yo did last night?

You can use your own inventions?

Why you chose Stroop to receive your invention?

By now, I think that Mr. Squirrel has apoint, since there is no sense that stroop choose Fircoal to investigate, since, he was a major lurker, and that's why I chose him to be killed.

I created it night 1, gave it to him night 2

nope, tried that

random.org if im honest

Question about your invention, do you mean it like you gave him your invention that he could hold onto and use when he wished or that you gave it to him but it is automaticly used?

I honestly dont know, Im guessing he can hold on to it.

Well, with two people claiming to be inventors, one of them is probably lying. Since I've been the one investigating stroop and cena seems to have a more pmc-like role (meaning it is strange and overly-complicated  ) I'm leaning more towards believing him.

I'll chime in on this and say that I know for a fact that cena was human on night 1.

I know I said your story wasn't all unlikely when I first read it, but with cena claiming inventor you look very scummy.

I half blocked strokem. He seems like a townie to me, but he also seems kind of reckless in his suspicions, so I didn't want him flying off the handle and wasting some poor sucker based on a weak premise. I think we have enough table talk going on to be able to find out who's scum through the thread itself.

I'm leaning towards voting for Stroop, but I'm going to review the happenings the past (game) day or so before I commit.

What I'm saying is that he still would have sent in a night action, regardless of whether you roleblocked him or not. The only difference would be that his half-block would have no affect on stroke. So he could be telling the truth and so could you. I'm not trying to say pi is innocent, just that I don't see the point you are trying to make.

Personally, I'd like to continue pursuing stroop before we start chasing down pi as well. With the outrageous amount of evidence against stoop and the questionable claim, I would go so far as to say we should just lynch him now.

Well, I'm going to review the history of all the conversation before I chuck in my double vote. As heavy as the weight is behind voting for him, I haven't had a chance to look back at his play before the night scene last night, and with my double, it would take only one more to oust him. We haven't gotten the hurry up for the next night scene yet, so I figure I have time to case out the situation.

Weak voting premise dude, it makes you look more scum than me.

I sent my half-roleblock against stroke, and I explained why. You, on the other hand, claim to have roleblocked me, then attempt to pull wool over people's eyes by saying I couldn't have, ahem, sent a PM to the organiser describing my night action, and further still accuse me of starting the lynching process against CW...

It's quite obvious, when you re-read the entirety of those posts that there was strong suspicion of CW due to the role-claims going on. I voted for CW after considering the possibilities - he seemed like scum to me. I wrote two paragraphs explaining my reasoning, unlike the paltry two lines you've written above.

So from that and your previous roleclaim I decided to test if it was true by role-blocking you. But sinse it is not clear what your role is, the thing I could only depict from it was that you were a double-voting roleblocker, which seemed skeptical to me. If I am incorrect would you please tell us the full details of your role to avoid confusion. If it sounds reasonable I will unvote. I'm going to state my role exactly: I am able to do one roleblock per night.

After re-reading everything in detail, and trying to figure out who did what last night, I think going for the lynch on stroop is the right idea. Not to say that there can't be two inventors, or that any evidence against him is watertight, but it looks very suspicious. On a side note, I also find it suspicious that there has been 2-3 pages of weight against stroop, and when it looks like it's tipping towards a lynch, Crazyirishman goes off on a tangent, trying to change the subject by accusing me of being scum - when it's already established I'm a double-voting half-roleblocker. FOS stays on Crazyirishman, vote stroop

e.p.i. I have a couple more questions before I'll retract my vote.
1) what does a half block do? I asked PMC and he said to ask the others in the thread.
2 )do you believe that stroke is a vig? Because you said you blocked him, but he claimed the kill of fircoal along with falko who you already believed to be a vig.

at this point it could have been either me or falko assuming that falko is telling the truth. eipi blocked me but in turn he was blocked... so depending on how the actions played out he could have been blocked from using his half block... :S so all in all it really doesn't matter at this point if it was me or falko who really killed fircoal first. though in the night action post it stated "they" killed fircoal...

and on another note I agree with the stroop lynch. so why not pull the lever... vote stroop

As far as I know it half-blocks an action. So if half a block is all that is needed for it to fail, then so be it, but it might be a partial fail. For instance, if somebody did lifesign detector and I half-blocked it, maybe it gives false information 50% of the time. I'm not sure, I just got told that I can half-block. I'm called Influence Man or something like that, hence the double voting as well.
2 )do you believe that stroke is a vig? Because you said you blocked him, but he claimed the kill of fircoal along with falko who you already believed to be a vig.

Falko, as far as I know, only gets one kill opportunity in the game, he's not a full vig. As for stroke, he may be a vig, maybe not, it's hard for me to tell right now. I think as a player he tends to act quickly on slight suspicion though, so I half-blocked him to prevent a reckless death during the night scene. As I said before, I think we have enough evidence floating around in game chat to come to conclusions about who is who.

As soon as the new day begun Mr. Squirrel started to accuse stroop, an argument ensued until stroop revealed he was an inventor. But soon cena-rules piped in saying that he was an inventor and the nearby labs and had never seen stroop. Steadily the evidence grew and more and more people accused him. They threw holy water at him to weaken him before stroke delivered the fatal blow to the vampire.

Stroop (Count Dracula, Vamipre Leader) is dead!

With the town feeling a lot safer they headed into the night hopefully thinking this was all over...
