Sure, but I never heard of a "full flavor claim" before. What exactly do you want me to reveal?

So I missed it. I don't know yet is Mass sent it without me knowing.

Otherwise, the claimed townies are going to get picked off one-by-one, leaving us in the dark as a bunch of unclaimed shy players, inactives, and mafia get by with excuses.
In addition, with every town player lost we lose the cellar cards they hold, which to be frank are ridiculously powerful. I don't care about catching scum on a hunch or clue, or cult, or whatever the heck else. I just want some names in an orderly fashion. We'll proceed from there. How about a quick, gfy? The following the order doesn't mater at all and I have a chance to significantly help the town if I catch someone in a lie. How does it hurt you at all? Worried that I pull a fake out from the names not yet called? Trust me, my role is 100% certain to be in the game and I will not budge from my desire to be one of the last to claim, as my claim will be a hell of a lot more then just a name.
edocsil wrote:Rodion wrote:Edocsil: please explain how you were going to catch someone in a lie by claiming last.
Mr. Boddy. I know he is a threat, and he may have not know that I existed. I had hoped that he wold claim and then he could hang.
edocsil wrote:Could we at least pretend to try to get eachothers names right? This is a big enough clusterfk when I know at lest who you are talking to and about.
Personally I am laughing a the people who think it was scummy that I tried to delay my claim in the hopes of catching scum. If I thought is was more then you simply not thinking it through all the way you would have earned a vote from me for furthering the goals of the scum.
There was little risk in my move there and a chance for reward for the town? Why would I not try to take the chance? This is a serious question, how can you possibly think that it was a scummy move. Perhaps you can be annoyed that I am an attention whore sometimes here but is absoluetly asinine to think that what I did was scummy.
shieldgenerator7 wrote:safariguy5 wrote:Have all the cellar cards been dealt to someone? Didn't some people investigate items and rooms instead?
Yeah, maybe we should see who else investigated. But for the most part, it seems everyone picked a cellar card. But I realize I did not post my full investigative results. Here it is:
N0-lounge and revolver.
Lounge- Colonel Mustard (Rodion) in the lounge at midnight
Revolver- found fingerprints of Colonel Mustard, Mr. Boddy, Mr. Black, Mr. Wadsworth, the Butler, and Sgt. Grey
N1-kithcen and knife.
Kitchen- David bill (Com9) eating donuts and the dinner table's still a mess.
Knife- found fingerprints of Miss Ho and Miss Yvette

Yes, but it would be a pretty big bluff to fabricate a cellar card and say you got a guilty Boddy Card. I suppose since we did lose 3 people, an exact count is not possible, but that card points to Boddy being a character in the game and not just some flavor NPC.

There is no Boddy card. Edocsil concluded Boddy to be anti-town from his role PM. Edocsil's 2 cards were Mr. Green (Pyrhhus, innocent) and Lady Lavender (Daze, innocent).
safariguy5 wrote:Well at least you look temporarily more townie because gt was scum Victor, so I will trust your defense for now and unvote.
@ Target, I think the claiming last thing is an acceptable gambit given that he thinks that he could have caught Boddy (especially since Boddy is a debatable alignment role) in a lie. It doesn't hurt to try to do that.
Also, didn't edoc say he got Boddy's Cellar Card, indicating that Boddy is in the game?

If we win on the first night then that's just great!!! i don't see how us winning on the first night could be a bad thing?
Mass Claims are lame in flavor games. Unless the mod has already planned for it and there is a large universe for good fake claims it can ruin the game. Winning is good, but it is pointless if the game isn't fun, and mass claiming can take a lot of the fun out of the game. The game becomes very predictable after a claim. Point awarded to Edoc'sil.edocsil wrote:There are some claims that should come later then others. If I hold off I believe I can catch somebody in a lie. He wanted to defer his claim when he was number 6 on the list. I think this is one of the most damming things against him. This might be ok if he caught someone in a lie. Which he did not seeing as how no one else thought by claiming that they would catch someone in a lie.
Beyond your broken and barely legible English you say that that an action is not scummy if it gets results and is scummy if it doesn't get results. This is a logical fallacy, as actions in a game like this are not guarantied certain results. I had a chance to help the town, I made a reasonable request, and the people who threw the biggest stink about it (GT) were scum. There's a hint. Point to Edoc'sil again.edocsil wrote:F1fth wrote:Alright, that does it. I am insisting that everyone claim, today, in the original order agreed upon, ASAP, no exceptions, under threat of lynch. I do not know how your role could tell you that would that put off the balance of the game? unless you are scum how would you know that information??
Flavor in my role made it very likely that he existed and that he was scum. If he claimed as himself and claimed town/survivor/whatever I could have pushed for a hanging. It isn't like it would be an insta win for the town, and it would be in no way game breaking. A lot of us have info on other players, this was no different. Because you seem to be incapable of rational analysis you have not realized that many of the players have flavor info about characters in the game. Surprise, that doesn't even remotely indicate that I am scum. Again, point to me.edocsil wrote:Could we at least pretend to try to get each others names right? With this logic Then we all should not have claimed.
Again, you barely scratch the surface in attempting to understand my arguments. At this point the mass claim was happening, regardless of my opinions of it. I merely suggested that I claim later, in the hopes that I could help the town, not that I shouldn't have to claim at all. I need to say nothing more about that, you cannot even pretend that that argument has any rational basis at all. It is the worst of your arguments and is is simply ignoring everything remotely resembling the truth.
And as for his recent actions they all keep adding up to scum for me.
