well, i am (or was) a deputy, you see.

however, i recieved a pm last night telling me that due to "unforeseen circumstances" i had become a regular cop. and i notice you aren't dead.

this leads me to 2 conclusions:

1: there's a thief on the loose, who now has investigative powers. (very likely)

2: you've been recruited into a cult. (not so likely)

any thoughts, anyone?

All I know is I investigated jnd last night and received the reply that he is mafia. I didn't hear anything about my powers being stolen.
If my powers have been taken, I guess that would have shown up last night, wouldn't it?

I already roleclaimed......I guess I talked too much and that is why I came up scum. My role said 'Don't roleclaim and you will be safe from "danger". Now that I said that, I think Im coming up scum on investigations. My unlynchable status is probably gone too. :shock:

There's also a third conclusion:

Mandyb is the GF but is giving up her goons to be accepted. Think about it, isn't it odd that all her investigations are scum, yet they are correct. I suppose that the cop died, but thats the hole in my theory, since no cop did die.
Note: Theifs only steal your power for the night, not the entire game.

Yes, all 2 of my investigations are scum - 1 (Mac) we lynched and jnd also came up scum in my investigation last night - tell me, how is that odd?
What is odd that I am doing my best as a town cop to help the town and you are doing your best to cast doubt on that.
Tell me why I would give up my goons? When I pointed out mac to everyone, he was not suspected in the slightest! In fact everyone was busy going down a totally different road. Why give up someone useful if I really were GF?

Your getting defensive. You would obviously give up a goon to insure town trust. I mean odd as in really lucky to get 2 scum in a row for your investigation.

jnd hasn't been confirmed as scum yet, dumbass. mandy could be paranoid. although i doubt there's a cell in the human body which thinks everything it "sees" is dangerous.

that only leaves conclusion no. 2. is it possible that there could be a cult in a mafia based on the human body?

Well, in immunology, there might be something similar to stealing powers, and I would imagine it would be permanent. Then again, I had a crap biology teacher, so I don't know squat exept from what I overhear from my doctor parents.

We lynched jnd already, but he didn't die, and the scene said something about as staph infection. That sounds like MRSA to me--the new kind of staph infection that is resistant to drugs. Go back and read the scene, it's pretty obvious.

So I don't think we even can lynch jnd, but he's probably scum. Of course, we had a vig die, so unless we have another, I'm really confused about how to get rid of him.

Mandy seems to be telling the truth; we never had a cop die, so either there is a thief, or a cult. A thief sounds more body-like, I don't know how a cult would work, but then again, I'm pretty clueless.

but the key thing I think people are forgetting is, [b]we already lynched jnd[/i]. read the scene, and think about it. I didn't even remember until just recently; this game is so slow.
