way to nit pick...

for instance since you hinted it; are you vig?
is it limited shot vig?
are you town ? 3th party? scum ? xD
are you still suspicious of storr?
who are you suspicious of now that sempai claimed?

Think its pretty clear that the No is directed at the entirty of Virus post. From mtambs perspective its all bad. He isn't answer a specific question no. Yet if he does answer each question THESE are the question he responds to.

No where does he respond directly to virus asking if he is town with "no"

so @mudpuppy why do you take out a 3rd of the question? Not to mention, come to the conclusion after he quoted the ENTIRE post, and wrote no, to make that mean him denying he is town?

I could literally copy your 4 points and put it against half the people in the game. They are not specific enough to help continue discussion on mtamb.

I don't disagree with you... but it would be preferred if mtamb would actually respond himself rather than spout off a series of meaningless posts that sound a lot like him pouting about being questioned. He's not bothering to help himself here... You've done far more to defend mtamb than mtamb has. I'm not sure if his belligerence is strategic or if he has checked out of the game. If the latter, then he's of little use to town.

No, I don't really think he was denying being town... but that was one in a series of piss-poor posts that don't say anything. There was absolutely no point to quoting virus's long post and responding with two letters!!! I'd like him to give a REAL response.

Is this the way experienced players play?

Mtam provides a 2 letter response to a WOT...
MudPuppy tries to turn it into an out of context admission of guilt...
Madmitch uses that to change his vote.

FOS on everyone who's username starts with 'M'!

It has little to do with whether we care and much to do with what we can do about it.

So if all the scum just keep quiet, there's nothing to be done about it? How about people vote for them instead of this circle-jerk of gotcha's against the players who are at least making some contributions? I'd rather lynch a silent player on D1 than someone who is active and only mildly suspicious. At least with the active player, there will be some statements to analyze on D2.

unvote
Vote mtam

I more or less agree with the idea that Mtam has not really done much to defend himself and may be copping to not being town aligned here. Again a third party character with a night kill (or possibly even recruit) ability is good enough to lynch.

If meta is anything to be believed, Storr is just deflecting for his buddy. Degaston is of note for deciding that after all of the content we do have, that it would be better to just push that all aside and hope for the best with a lurker. Weird.

What the f*ck is this? Literally in the same line he also posts 3rd party and scum, so if you're going to be honest and not cherry pick, he's also saying "no" to those options as well. And then literally in the next post he says he's never going to claim.

So what, exactly is a "scummarining" level of quiet?
Does *Pixar* count, or is he also at a prod/replace level of quiet?

@Tonka: We've still got 4 days left to decide. I'd like Mtam to say a bit more, but I don't think it hurts to put pressure on the silent players. Why are you against that? Weird.

At some point you do have to narrow things down as Streaker posed a few pages back ago. If we are looking at an approaching deadline, even one that is a ways out, at some point you have to decide where you have something you can work with.

If you genuinely believe there are no cases on anyone we have talked about so far, then yeah you have to try to find a new direction, but we haven't been closer than L5 really (which doesnt have to be bad), but it does suggest there probably is a little bit of wearyness on D1 and it is unlikely you are going to manufacture a case at that point.

There is not a ton to reread on madmitch. If we are going to go by flavor posting, he would likely not be a character who should be lynched. I believe he first posted on page 3 or 4 if that helps as that is the relevant post for a flavor guide on mitch.

I was being facetious... My assumption is that mtamb was saying he's not a vig... but he had quoted a long post with about 7 different questions directed at him and only responded with his BS reply of "no." So, I said I wasn't sure what he was responding to (I don't) and only asked him if it was the "are you town" question he was replying to... just to try to get him to respond to something.

So? We have no idea if flavor indicates alignment or how strong fake claims are.

assuming his hint makes him town is silly. Judge him based on his play.

He just dropped a shady vote And you know it

Mod gave magia fake claims, or flavor doesn't indicative a
alignment.

Since it be pretty dumb to just instantly clear 6 people based on character names.

Vote: dd515087, I came into the forum multiple times over weekend to read up and see what people posted and on a few occasions saw him in here lurking and still has yet to post or move his vote. Mtam may claim real life is making it hard for him to play but obviously you made the time to swing by so you definitely get my attention for now.

And Matam, that wasn't an answer really at all, but I will give you another day or so to come back and try again before maybe voting your direction.

I understand what you were trying to do, but you can't go around selective quoting like that with something so far out of context. It can lead people easily astray in a game this big, where not everyone is paying full attention all the time.
