Just now done Reading page 22. Here are the notes I took. I will hopefully get around to reading the rest tonight when I get home.

Unknown page – Clever jumps on the beginning of the BW on Neb basically his second post in the game when there was no reason yet to do so.

P. 20?? – IB jumps on BW putting Neb at L-2 thinking it’s L-3.

P.21 – Jak jumps on the BW after neb has claimed putting him at L-1. Jak somehow thinks he is at L-3 even though there was a vote count not too far up. Convenient that he and IB alike thought that it was L-3?

Lol, whichever Bulge yes, It's the case of you wanting to write one thing, but end up writing something else that you see.

Damn, didn't realise people post so quickly! (Does that mean I need modkilling?!)

It was a grammatical error, so I just removed the whichever (in thinking "whichever mafia it is, I think bulge yes")

Sorry, I forgot to [b][color=#FF0000]unvote] jak.

I apologise for not stating my reasons for voting jak but I was about the 9th to vote and SG7 had done the same so I felt it was acceptable.

Ok, hippo, since I am the target of not reading your case properly (even though nobody has admitted to comprehending it) I will humor you and provide some thoughts.

Sorry Doom, got back from holiday in the weekend and still trying to catch my tail. I've been reading and watching but you are right, not contributing. I consider my hand slapped. I am interested that Betico, Dazza and Sparticus are having lovely little chats and interludes. Looking really professional and on to it but IMHO seem joined at the hip and going unchallenged. IMHO Betico screams out loudest as being too "try hard" and "daddy" for my liking.

Unvote vote Betico

interludes - betico, dazza, spart had one conversation almost immediately before you posted this. Interludes should jot be pluralized. Also, they posted in the thread where everyone is welcome to post on and comment on what they are saying. How is at interesting one bit?

Going unchallenged - what is it that they have said that is going unchallenged? Why should it be challenged?

Try hard and daddy - what does this mean? Give one example of a try hard or a daddy post from betico please.

Agreed with SG7, both of you should've gave your thoughts but to Jonty... In which way would that send the signal to your brain to copy what he said almost word for word?

lshicastr I know Doom what does this mean exactly? It seems all rather random to me. Hippo hasn't explained it at all yet.

The doc softclaim wasn't a case. It was info that was to be kept hidden from mafia. When you make a case against someone, you don't say "I think S7C is scummy, go back and see what I mean." No, you don't. You say, "S7C is scummy for such and such reasons, he might be SK," etc. They're too different things, making cases and exposing power roles' softclaims.

That's the main reason I don't like hippo's case on betiko. He tells you to go back and change your opinion without giving you anything at all. However, he is relatively active so for now I'm pressuring inactives.

-SG7 ( :) )

lol thanks for using me as the sk! lol but i do agree i dont see the big deal about it. and i was gonna point out that i believe it was hippo said that we had to go see it ourselves if you didnt notice when i make a case i bring everything to one post and i would love the same to be done for me.

With 24 alive, it takes 13 to lynch.

Deadline is midnight May 1st, PST. If no lynch is decided by then, the day will end in a no lynch.

Okay guys, just giving us all a reminder that our deadline is approaching. We essentially have 6 days to figure this out, or go into the night with no lynch. The listing above is updated, so…

Hippo leads the pack with 4
Jonty and Eldario and Nebuchadnezer are in second with two.

I’m okay with 3 of the 4 above (guess which one I’m not okay with) for putting a concerted effort to get pressure on them.

I’m already on Eldario, who would be my #1 pick. But I can be persuaded. Also, we only have 14 of us voting. Can we get everyone to vote, please? I would consider a non vote to be rather scummy at this point. There are plenty of cases for people to grab onto.

Righto, I thought it best to let the dust settle a bit before responding to the FOS on me.

The concern I had was with respect to flavour and timing. I was obviously mistaken as there's been no repeat. I confess that I saw something that wasn't there.

I've also taken a dose of my own medicine and gone back to reconsider the whole context of what was said and why.

Frankly, I think I need to apologise to Betiko as he was not being "daddy" at all but rather "collegial" and "assistive". I have no excuse other than I skimmed. But I think my comment was actually offensive and I withdraw it unreservedly.

Unvote

I also overlooked this:
betiko wrote:... unless he was just fishing for info..

Which I think was what urked me the most. It's day one, of course we are trying to get info. But I think that's not what you meant! Anyway Betico hasn't even got a vote on anyone and we havn't had an update from him in a couple of days (similarly me).

I get why there was a case on me. It was my fault. Day one stupidity.

Anyway, I agree with Neb and y'all that some pressure on Eldario is useful. So, vote Eldario.

Also, why the hell is everyone all over the place? The Hippo wagon seems a good spot that 4 of you are on. I'm on Sniper who is inactive, Spartacus still never bothered to unvote me yet, I don't believe he's really too active yet in this game, I see his name pop up once in a while. 3 people are on eldario's case for inactivity. (which I may join later since both where I'm voting now and him are the same cases). Which to Eldario's last post, you could still be active a bit more, especially with knowing your inactivity is starting to grow a LOT of attention.

For the time being i don't have much else to say tonight, but thought I'd get in a few quick thoughts for whatever goes on tonight before bed.

I will tell you who I will not vote for.

Unless something changes I will not vote Neb. People have a problem with the flavor of his claim. Until we have further claims its hard to judge. He is active and pressing ahead.

I will not be voting for Jak111. He is connected to Doom now. I doubt very much mafia would go out on a limb day one to say they are masoned. There is no reason for mafia to be masoned. They could however be third party. BUT they have not fully claimed with their names. It was brought up that all that would do was make pages of spam argument on flavor role names.

If you are going to vote to lynch Neb on flavor because you don't believe Tank would be VT then Jak and Doom would need to claim their names. It just seems a little hypocritical to want to lynch someone because they don't fit someones idea of what is flavor for this game and to then say "We don't want several pages of spam arguing over weather Jak and Dooms names fit the flavor of Masons".

For the moment I wont vote Hippo...my vote was leaning very heavily towards him do to his recent posts. His Mia Culpa changed that for me. I have yet to play a game where I have not scratched my head at some point and thought, "Does he smoke medicinal weed?" Some posts he seems so rational and others hes the Mad Hatter.

This is a game of damned if you do and damned if you don't. If I were to vote anyone else without stronger evidence it would just look like a bandwagon vote. We still have six days...alot can happen in six days.

The problem I have with voting Neb is that he is one of the most active in the game right now.
The problem I have voting for Hippo and Eldario, is that we are making them claim/lynching them based on the same meta they do in other games.

The only one I see out of character is Jonty. Ill admit I have not played with him much, but he seems to be the only one to stick out in that group. I will vote for hippo or eldario if the time gets short and we need to make a move, but it's not preferred.

I think Hippo has, at east, excused himself (although lay off the reefer, dude). Eldario has been largely silent, though.
