Besides Forever Alone is a throw back to Memebase mafia, also hosted by PMC, so he knew the role he was getting.

Bingo. Barring some sort of redirection, Mr. Squirrel was the target.
When / made his initial post about edocsil, I thought that he had information linking edocsil to the kill in some way. It now appears that he didn't actually have that. That said, with what he has provided I still think edocsil was the one to attempt the kill. In my opinion the most probable role for Altair would be Assassin. Given that the scene suggests that the would-be killer bypassed the guard in some manner I think that said kill may have had the assassin role. Therefor I now believe that edocsil (Altair) Assassin of some uncertain alignment was the one who attempted the kill in the scene.
So, now we need to see if he can come up with some explanation that could convince us that he did so as a town player.

/ investigated safari for a reason but ended up with Edocsil. That was probobly not forseen by the busdriver. I would be curious as to why /picked Safari to investigate.

edocsil has talked about a Vig in game in a round about way and his flavor suggests such.

A Mafia Busdriver would have a specific plan and pick their targets for a reason.

On night one a Town busdriver would have no information of substance to work with other then hunches and WIFOM.

I don't think the reason is going to be very interesting. With a cop, you're better off just investigating everyone eventually, and I don't think anyone on Day 1 was particularly noticeable besides Yomiel, but Yomiel has enough red flags about his possible role that I believe avoiding investigating him is probably a good idea. Course, if / has some more substantial reason, he may reveal it if he likes.

Wow, gone for not even a day and all this.

I have to say that I can confirm what Slash said about the busdriving, but I'm not saying how I know. I cannot confirm edoc's role or what he dd last night. Hay, with what happened in the night scene and what eveyone is speculating I'm not even sure if I know everything about my role.

It seems that both Slash and Spiesr have a round about way of linking edoc to the kill target, Mr. Squirrel. Slash says because of what he psychically picked up on edoc, that edoc is scum, and speisr said because he doc'd Mr. Squirrel that edc is scum. (?) Can you two clear this up for me because I'm not entirely convinced as to how that implicates edoc as Mr. Squirrel's would-be killer.

But because edoc's role may be potentially dangerous, and I want a full claim, I will VOTE EDOC
