The Team's situation was dire, but one Naomi Misora continued with all her strength, she has already lost her love so she took matters in her own hands, putting forth her own investigations that could have helped save the town, unfortunately she was spotted by the one she was tracking, her fake identification did little against the user of Shinigami's Eyes.

the last remaining member of the Kira case was in hiding, He was an inexperienced cop who was cracking under the pressure of have his comrades killed around him, He ran away from the Police HQ, but to no avail, while the new Kira allowed him to escape, His name was indeed written down in the death note, the next day a report came in of Tota Matsuda's suicide, presumed to be stress related.

The End
The sacrifice of the many investigators did have meaning, but in the end their main goal had failed, Misa Amane had finally gotten rid of the last of her rivals, but the victory felt hollow to her, without the Real Kira whom she had worshiped and admired, she did not believe herself to be complete, still in the spirit of Light Yagami, she continued to "cleanse" the world of crime, watched over by The Shinigami Rem for the rest of her life.
Rem herself had completed everything she had set out to do, this human whom she had cared for would continue to live for a significant time during which the world could do nothing to oppose either.
Those remaining who Believed Kira to be their salvation could hardly notice a difference between the new and old Kira, except for one Teru Mikami, a prosecutor who had a mindset almost Identical to Light Yagami, he realized that his "god" was dead, but continued to enjoy this Utopia as a representative of Amane Misa.
Still, the one who was most satisfied was Ryuk, he had succeeded without fail to bend each human he contacted in that time to do his will, while he never received his old Death note back, a cunning Shinigami of his skill could easily trick another out of the old Shinigami King, perhaps one day starting the cycle anew, hopefully with someone who had plenty of apples.

Special roles used and goals

Light Yagami
Can Kill once during the day and night (though to do it during the day they have to post Daykill), sends one person to try to contact each night and talk to them if they are pro kira, they then become a Mafia together, talks to Ryuk during the day and night, can ask at any time to give up death note, if this happens Ryuk will chose someone to give it to and Light appears as innocent, at this point (which didn't happen so no one was informed) Lights goal is changed to cast the lynching vote for whomever has the death note in order to become scum again.
Main goal Wins if alive at the time when L, Mello and Near are all dead

L
Mason recruiter Partnered with Watari at the start of the game
Can recruit any one person during the day as a permanent mason who they may talk to at any time day or night, this person regardless of alliance learns of L's identity but not that of other Masons until L reveals them to the person.
each night may investigate one fellow mason and learn their full role with goals.
Wins when all death note are destroyed

Misa Amane has essentially the same role as light, but is only able to recruit Light instead of Pro kira people, and talks to Rem instead of Ryuk
later in the game after light's death Misa became a normal serial Killer
If Misa were to give up her Death note She would become a pro-kira vanilla townie
Wins if Light Yagami stays alive until the end game

Rem
Unlynchable and un-killable
Is able to talk to Misa day and Night
Choses a replacement to give death note to if given up
Once in the game can stop a day kill, night kill, or lynch, at the cost of their own life, instantly killing the attacker or a voter of their choice (leaving behind a death note to the saved for them to give to anyone, destroy or keep for themself)
Would have won instantly after Light's death if they were able to convince Misa to give up their death note (resulting in town win)
Targeted Ryuk with anti-lynch resulting in no death but instead in a stollen death note
Wins if Misa Survives until end game

Ryuk
Unlynchable and Unkillable
talks to light at any time
Choses a replacement for light if they give up their death note
Once per day OR night is able to secretly kill anyone including Light himself
if he were to target Rem, he would have stolen her killing power
wins game if prolonged to 7 or more day phases

If someone with a Death note if lynched the person with the hammering vote may chose to either keep the note (becoming pro-kira and having their goals and role changed to Kira's) or destroyed, the same applies to is they killed them by themself, or it is given to them by a shinigami, exceptions are as follows;
L, Watari, Mello and Near automatically destroy all death notes they find or are given
All pro Kira Factions must keep any death note given to them, becoming a new kira.

all pro-kira player's goal was to keep Kira alive, though they did not note know his identity unless recruited.
L, Mello, Near and Watari had the goal of destroying the death notes.
other townies goal was to find the death notes and either destroy them or keep them
in the event of L's death all remaining connected roles (Aiber, Mello, Near and Watari ) had the power to find each other and become a mason group.

I really thought we had this game in the pocket when F1fth, Stike wolf and me found eachother on night 2.

So why'd we lose? Only 2 lynches in 6 days! And both were pro-town! Alright, actually we lynched Misa too, but she was saved. (PS: this was nagerous' doing, right?) (PPS: why didn't mr. incrediball just vig Neoteny after he survived the lynch?! or did he use up his bullet against MM?)

/, I liked the flavour you put into this game. The Death Note theme was worked out really well. It's a pity the game was so unbalanced. I think you expected the shinigami to play like 3rd party, but really it seemed like they were just part of the mafia. At the end of night 3, when our first no-lynch occured, we had lynched 2 pro-towns and killed kira. A pretty good score for a town so early in the game. Scum had killed 4 pro-towns and 1 pro-kira. A bit too many kills for my taste but still in total 6 pro-towns were lost and 2 scum, so the balance should still be in check. However, look at who was left alive:
2 shinigami (unkillable AND unlynchabe is TOTALLY unbalanced)
3 pro-kira
5 town
Town was already out-numbered at this point. It's no wonder they didn't get any lynch through from that point on. I thought it was just because of the inactivity at first, but looking back at the numbers that was not the real reason. You should definitally mod another game, but next time have someone else check it for balance please before you run it.

I should congratulate scum with their win, but really I feel that Strike wolf, F1fth and myself played best. I investigated mandyb night 1 and neoteny night 3. On night 2 when we were told we could look for masons once each night, we found eachother immediately and were able to tell Strike wolf to kill mandyb.
