First: I forgot about the most votes at the deadlines gets lynched. If I would have remembered that then I would have not done that.

Second: I just got recruited last night. I had zero information about the roles, only that /, lhc, and colton where revolution. so obviously greg and spiesr were mafia.

Third: my thinking was that they were both mafia, one was a vote stealer and the other was regular mafia with a kill. I thought we were at a stand still and if it went into night that they would get a kill and win the next day after stealing a vote. But if they stole a vote of a dead man, then we would be ahead 3:2, and win, which is why I claimed that my vote had to be stolen and killed in the same night.

I was hoping that / being an experienced player would notice this and agree (I mean who would ever make it that you have to steal a vote to remove the bullet proof and kill the person in the same night?)

I did this because I thought we gave out to much information about who is who with 6 players left.

give yourself for the cause right?

well it did not help that no one was informed that I was revolution. I thought everyone knew (revolution) that I was recruited.

Town wins!

Revolution has begun and there is no stopping it.

/ was castro and lhcguy was Che.

Spiesr was Batista
Gregwolf was Meyer Lansky.

Rainbow eater had just been recruited last night.

Safariguy could steal votes and give them to Spiesr. He died last night, but he got his action in before lhc got his kill in, so I decided that Spieser still got the vote. Tomorrow however, he wouldn't have it, so it would be 4 to 2.

There were some things that I messed with during the game for balance.
First- because of the number of people I got, I thought there was a slight advantage to scum. Because of this, while revolution shouldn't have gotten a recruit night one (they needed a 7 or lower and random.org gave me an 8) I still gave them Naxus. Naxus however died, so it was okay.

Second- vodean was really bad, and so he kinda screwed over the mob, as he got himself killed. Meyer Lanskey was never as violent as Traficanto, and so I liked the idea of Traficanto being in charge of the night kill, so if he is gone, no killing. This didn't work out well though because vodean sucked. I gave Gregwolf a night kill for night 2 then, but took it away night three. Night three he would have killed Rainbow Eater, and it would have been 3 votes against 2 votes for scum. Greg was never supposed to have a night kill though, so I had taken it away. While this screwed the scum, letting him keep the night kill would have screwed town, and since it was a boon in the first place, only letting him have it for one night made sense.

I will have a complete list of roles later.
thanks...

An overview of the setup:

Revolution- Recruitment was decided by me, actually. They started with a 70% chance of recruiting someone at night, and I decided who got recruited. I used random.org to decide if they got a recruit.
First night, naxus was recruited. On the second night, he became a cop.
Second night, colton. He became a cop night three, cause naxus died
Third night, R E.

Che Guvara (lhcguy) - got a night kill. If he killed a peasant though, the chance that they would recruit someone went down by 10%.
First night- killed f1fth
Second night- killed no one
Third night- killed safariguy

Fidel Castro (/)- Could send one PM to the recruits each night. Also, if he was killed, they couldn't recruit anymore.

Peasants-nothing special

Mafia
Meyer Lanskey (Gregwolf)- could PM Batista and Traficanto, but not at the same time. I granted him a night kill once vodean got himself lynched.
Night two kill- Naxus

Senior Traficanto (vodean)- Had a night kill.
Night one- f1fth
Then he died.

Batista's Regime-
Minister of Propaganda (safariguy)- Could steal one vote and give it to Batista
Night one- stole gregwolf's vote.
Night two- lhcguy
Night three- lhcguy

Batista (spiesr)- bulletproof. Could PM Meyer Lanskey. Got to use the vote of whoever the propagandist stole the vote from.

i got to say the most frustrating part of the game was having to watch vodean hang himself, he did the same in my star wars game, so vodean heres some advice don't try so hard and sometimes just shut up, also don't take it so hard if someone votes you. besides that pretty fun game, i do think the mafia was a bit under powered though

I thought it was a good game, at least from a peasant point of view.

The activity was good. It didn't drag on too long.
