I'm not arguing that you shouldn't have voted him, just that scum would be likely to join that BW.

Remembering back to when AoG was lynched, the idea was to lynch him; if he wasn't stormtrooper, colton's mafia. While I was not so convinced that this was the best plan (partly because I thought AoG might be legitimately confused and partly because those spearheading the lynch AoG campaign were mafia suspects), I can understand why a townie would go along with it. That being said, I think the lynching was mafia influenced, if not a mafia plot from the beginning.

That being said, I'm going to hedge a bit and say that while I have been right in the past (e.g. spiesr), I have also been wrong (e.g. mandomike69).

Granted, but the point is that AoG was displaying scummy behavior. People are going to jump on bandwagons anyways. You can find the scum if the evidence for lynching the person isn't especially strong. In this case, I believe it was strong enough that whatever scum did jump on the wagon were masked by what AoG said in his fakeclaim.

Wait, I think I may be missing something. Do the Rebels or the Empire have night killing powers?

judging by the people who were killed at night:

7. Fuzzylogic99, princess leia, rebellion, killed night one

gregwolf121 wrote:in another part of the galaxy an imperial star destroyer is chasing down a small freighter that was used by the rebellion to transport troops, as the star destroyer blasts the freighter a small snub nosed fighter slips out and attempts to run, the empires tie fighters rush to the chase a tie interceptor in the lead, some lucky shots from the tie fighters graze the snub nose fighter shorting out the engine, with the snub nose crawling along with only one engine the tie interceptor closes behind, the interceptor pilot considers the craft in front of him and decides it would be better to kill the pilot instead of making the pilot a prisoner, so with one press of a button two green lasers blast from the interceptor and hit the weakened fighter blowing it to bits, the empires fighters circle around checking for life then return to the star destroyer."

This seems to be a town kill

9. spiesr, imperial citizen, survivor, killed night 2

gregwolf121 wrote:the night was like any other at the storm trooper base, when all of a sudden a they get a call, a citizen has been killed near his home, the killer the man the storm troopers have been hunting down for a while. the storm troopers head out trying to reach this killer before he reached the spaceport. but they were to late the killer has left the planet escaping the storm troopers yet again.

This seems it would be a rebellion kill

6. colton24 imperial intelligence agent, cop, killed night 3

gregwolf121 wrote:as the day ended a supposed cop claimed to know what anothers status was, his information along with this players claim and since the two did not match up this player was killed. now at night a man figured this cop to be lying about his role so in the dead of the night he hunted down the cop and when he found him there was a flash of red and this cop lay dead.

I think we killed our own guy here, but why would we kill our own guy? This one I am not sure about.

1. Wercool, han solo, rebellion smuggler, killed night 4

gregwolf121 wrote:as the day ended his questions go unanswered so he decides that it doesn't matter what side this man is on hes going to kill him anyway. so he slips into the casino where his unsuspecting prey is sitting at a back table drinking his grief away, the dark hunter approaches and with a single blaze of red sears a hole through han solos heart. the killer leaves the casino and the body of wercool behind.

Definitely Vader.

So I would say both. But how much? I would chalk 3 night kills up to Town and only 1 up to mafia.

Sorry for the inactivity.

And yes I am pretty sure both sides have night kills if you look at who has died. Unless only the empire does and a couple of the kills were friendly fire.

It would only make sense for Colton to have been killed by the rebellion since the empire would have known he was imperial. I think it would make sense for the empire to not have a doctor since the game started with fewer rebels than empire.

Out of the remaining players, I haven't a clue which is rebel scum and needs to be lynched. :/

After rereading that death scene, maybe we have a third-party nk role still about. That sounds somewhat like a third party kill.

My vote stays on LSU for all previous reasons. He still has not posted since I pointed everything out about him. Instead GA7 felt it was his duty to do that for him.

safariguy5 wrote:Sorry RE, I find it really hard to believe that in as large a game as this, we wouldn't have a single protective role. Perhaps not a doctor, but maybe a bodyguard or something. This is amplified by the fact that we haven't lynched or nk'ed any protective roles either.

I never said there were no protective roles, just that I do not think there is a Doc. For numerous reasons that no one has cared to give any logical explanation. Bodyguards only protect certain roles, like in this game if there is one, it would have to protect the Emperor, not a cop, like colton.

safariguy5 wrote:In the interest of game balance, I cannot accept your declaration that there are no docs. We might have a clueless doc, but not a nonexistent one.

UTAlan wrote: I think it would make sense for the empire to not have a doctor since the game started with fewer rebels than empire.

careful UT, talk like that is liable to get you lynched around here.

I am more than willing to change my declaration on there not being a doc if:

Rainbow Eater wrote:1. Why did the Dr. not counter wercool.

2. why did the Dr. not protect colton after colton was proven to be a cop.

I would love to hear explanations from all of you for these besides well maybe someone forgot, or they were not on because those are all bs reasons.

My explanation is that there is no doc.

I would really love to hear GA7 explanation for this.

IF any thing can be determined from wording (flash of red/blaze of red) Iit looks like this kill and the kill after it (wercool)

I've already gave my defense to your initial accusations against me. Said doc might not feel it was in his best interest or the town's to counter at that point just because there might be more than one pro town role like that. In regards to Colton not being protected, hell if I know. It was probably someone that hasn't been keeping up with the game.

 Wasn't gonna point out the obvious and give scum ideas but this is why I found the "there's no doc" theory completely far fetched. In a game with a bunch of newbies and not everyone active it's bound to happen...
Gonna reread later today to see if there's any clue, but I kinda doubt it'll change my mind about RE... I think you guys sidetracked a lot with the doc thing when it was far from being the main argument against him... Anyway I'd like to nominate CW to randomly find us a new suspect in case we don't reach consensus, he seems in luck

Mod, could you confirm this rule is valid? I think the analysis of the kills make sense for most but I want to make sure it's not randomly made by Greg.

yes its valid, i haven't posted any day scenes, i consider day scenes are scenes writen during the day, not the scenes posted inbetween day and night, in those it is possible to figure out a character who did the killing but not the player

Usually when they say day scenes they mean all the kill scenes...like the day one lynch and the night 2 kill etc. It does reveal a little more abbout the game than most mods like to but I'm not complaining.
