VioIet wrote:Well,, its obviously Haggis. He did not post all day, except to come in and hammer our doctor at the last minute.
You notice that while Shaggy was alive, there were no NK's. As soon as he is lynched- both of our lovers die. Why would he even make up a doctor role like that, had it not been true? If it was fake- anyone could have countered.
I would not be that foolish Saf. Why would I stick my neck out for Shaggy, the town doc? I knew that lynching him would put us at lylo.
I stand by my claim- I am a London Priest. Saf is Turpin, Jonty is Innocent. Process of elimination- Haggis has to be Lovett.
Hmm.... a warm pie and a sweet pie. Sounds tempting. I'd like the sweet one.
VioIet wrote:What you said does make sense, but however you put it, bottom line - I was not going to lynch the doctor. Lynching him was exactly what put us at this Lylo situation- which is exactly where mafia want us to be.
I will always stick out my neck, and defend people, if I believe them to be useful. Perhaps not the wisest thing to do- I know- but as I said before. I wasn't going to lynch the doctor. I believed him because there had been no NK's for two nights in a row. We all agreed that Lovett was in the game, and was either mafia or the SK- so someone out there had to have a killing role. What other explanation for lack of kills, than a doctor? You mention that only mafia know who everyone is, and town have no idea. But that is true. I'm sure Haggis would have been more than happy to off the doc, knowing that he was not mafia, yet had a suspicious claim, in order to put the town in a lylo situation. One more mis-lynch and its over. That was exactly what i was trying to avoid.
In the same way that i was the only one who believed shaggy- most people believed Edoc's claim- except for Haggis. You credit him for his bandwagon on Edoc. I also noted that he started the bandwagon against Sax- as both events won your favor. Those are the exact things that a skillful scum would do, knowing it would win the towns favor.
As long as he survives to the end- and now that we are in a lylo situation- all it takes is a wrong lynch for him to win.
I still stand by that I felt shaggy defended himself well. He could not help the role that the mod gave him. I think no matter what he said or did at that point on Day 4- he was still going to wind up getting lynch. You already made up your mind that he was guilty at that point.

That's a pretty big WIFOM gamble to sacrifice both your godfather and a goon to ensure your own victory. If he really had the balls to do that, bravo, especially since I was about to let edoc off the hook when he did talk, so he theoretically could have said nothing and still kept his godfather alive. The preponderance of evidence and timing tells me Haggis is not scum, although if he is, it's some pretty ballsy play to get him to the current position.

It wouldn't be ballsy, it'd be plain up stupid. Sacrificing a goon out of the blue like that, maybe, but also the godfather? It's impossible to predict everyone's moves so accurately so that sacrificing 2/3rds of your team would actually be a good idea.
Violet:
1. The hammer was not my only post, I also posted a couple of times trying to figure out why there was no NK.
2. If the scum knew the reasons there was no NK he could deduce from that and the silence to my question that there likely is no doc and claim that role to try to save himself. You say "you were not going to lynch the doctor", how exactly could you be so sure he really was a doctor?
3. Why the hell didn't he claim doctor the first time? He could just do that and protect himself in the night. He really should have seen that amending his claim like that likely wouldn't fly.
One other thing. I believe you didn't eat a pie the last time. Why exactly would you do that if you are a VT?
Anyway, unless some really funky stuff is going on, lovett should be violet. vote violet
Also, to reiterate "mmm, pies". I'll have both please.

safariguy5 wrote:Haggis_McMutton wrote:I can definitely see Mr. S. putting in some more random townspeople. Don't think he'd just go for all the characters like that.
Fogg, Pirelli, even Toby could easily not be in this game.
Also, unvote.
Well where do we go from here then? I've been working on the logic that all the major characters are in here. In that case, should we lynch edocsil anyways since I got the guilty result? Seems logical then, seeing as how vig can easily be used by scum to hide their NK's.
Also, come to think of it edoc, why would you force me to fully claim if you were the Beadle? You should have known who I was if you were the Beadle as Yoshi had figured out that I was hinting at being Judge/Beadle.
unvote vote edocsil
Either way, possibility of framer or busdriver are really small in a VT game of this size, so I'm going to stick with my investigation on you.

I'll give you guys until friday night (I'm going to be in the Keys until then anyway). If nothing happens by then, I will flip a coin between the two for the lynch.

Great. The fate of the town will be decided with a coin flip

Not necessarily. I'm willing to vote no lynch and sacrifice a townie and then go to LyLo tomorrow. Hopefully, nobody will eat anymore pie and then the decision can be made tomorrow.
unvote vote no lynch

We are at lylo unless Vio votes no lynch.
