Oh comon... It's almost guaranteed that it's fake. He picked a very obscure character and there are much more likely character's around. If anything and Inception does have 2 characters, Dom and Saito/Mal (rivalry) as so far the themes in this game were about vendetta's and rivalry's. Eames doesn't make any sense. Gah!!!

Not to mention missing another lynch is going to be horrible for the town. Also his actions that he claims aren't believable.

Anyhow, since the lynch appears to have been a total bust, do we want to try to direct to take a specific action that will prove if he has the powers he says he has? Here his my idea: Tailgunner, take the cop power and investigate me. Due to details of my role that I won't reveal today, this should probably prove if you have the powers you say you do or not.

See, he can be useful. If he is scum we will find out, if he is town we either get info or he sucks up a nk.

Vote Tails

I kinda misread the deadline here, thought we had 2 more days

Like I said before, his claim has (in my mind) a 50/50 shot of being true or false. His claimed action last night slightly tips the balance to false, and we can use this lynch to find out...

Hope I'm not too late!

It was past the set deadline, it doesn't count by the rulebooks I play by, although the mod is all powerful. IMO, I think streaker should be nked for the attempted hammer.

You wanna NK me for hammering potential scum? I gave perfectly legit reasons, and there was more or less the intention of lynching him despite his claim.
The only part where I failed was the deadline...

I would say 10 to 1 odds he flips town if hung. The entire case for his lynch is off the fact that the character is slightly less likely to be in then others. Perhaps the mod liked the character? Or gave a more important character as a fake to a scum? I think it is foolish to assume that we have all the flavor correct at this point. I also think that there is a decent chance that you are an opportunistic scum looking to hang a assumed townie, but I don't think you are worth investigating, the cop has bigger fish to fry.

No Death at a Funeral

INT. FUNERAL PARLOR - EVENING

The members of the town lament over the body of nagerous. They stand around the casket, some weeping. Commander9 stands next to VioIet, with a steel gaze on the coffin.

COMM (in a whisper): I think T4ILGUNN3R is behind this. When we leave, I'm going to shoot him right outside the door.

T4ILGUNN3R shoots a glance across the room at the two whispering.

VIO (whispering): Commander, calm yourself. Hasn't there been enough death already? Best to leave this be for now.

Commander, still frustrated, continues to analyze the face of the fallen hero.

There is no lynch today. It is now Night 2. Send all night actions by 9 PM ET on May 5.

A few notes
I'd like to apologize for any confusion caused by today's deadline. I had made it the way it was to avoid confusion rather than cause it.

In addition, I will not guarantee a scene Thursday evening. RL is a bit hectic atm and I'm not sure how much time I'll have for the rest of the week. Please be patient.

The Hero Lives On

INT. WAREHOUSE - NIGHT

Someone is unconscious strapped to a chair with duct tape over their mouth and a bag over their head. Slowly, they begin to come to their senses. Once they realize their situation, they begin to struggle violently.

???: You'll never get out that way.

THE JOKER emerges from the shadows. He cackles maniacally.

Joker (pointing): You see those gas cans over there? They're going to explode in six minutes, and if you don't untie yourself you're going to be nice and crispy when they find you.

????: Not if I have anything to say about it.

BATMAN leaps down from the rafters and kicks the Joker aside. The two struggle and the Joker is subdued. Batman runs over to the hostage to free them.

Batman (removing the bag and tape): Don't worry. I'm going to get you out of here.

Hostage: But you... I was at your funeral!

Batman: Never mind that now. This place is gonna blow.

Batman looks to the doors of the warehouse. The Joker is fleeing, favoring his left arm. The hostage is now free and the two head for the exit. They escape and find cover from the explosion just in time. Once the explosion is over, the hostage breathes a sigh of relief.

Hostage: Batman...

Batman is gone.

Hostage: Batman?

Sirens begin to blare in the distance. The hostage leaves cover to once again look at the burning ruin.

There were no deaths last night. It is now Day 3. With 8 alive it takes 6 to lynch. You have until May 15 at 10:00 PM ET to decide

Okay, so Tailgunner, I assume that the Batman in the scene was you? Correct me if I am wrong. It looks like you took his power last night instead of going with my plan. But this works even better it seems for proving your abilities. So, what exactly was the power that Batman had, and how did you use it last night?
On a completely different note, Streaker is Lenny from Memento. Presumably the guy who killed the real Batman. So yeah, I am going to need some sort of explanation of your actions there buddy. Why did you kill nagerous? Are you pro-town or something else? Of course, you probably don't remember anything.
Commander9 wrote:A very good night! Welcome back, Batman - I'm glad to see you back.
Really, or are you just glad to have your worthy opponent back so you can defeat him yourself? Because, at this point the Joker is either you or sheep. (Unless someone has successfully lied about their role?)

Hmmm... I actually thought that you were Lenny, but Streaker was my #2 choice.

I can claim a role that definitely IS in the game and it would also clear me. Think of it as a hint - but I don't think any more is needed for now.

Well, I don't see the need to hide my role here. Yes, I can confirm I'm Leonard. Before going into detail about my role, consider me something like a JOAT. Only problem is that I don't get to choose the action

I will give some more information about my role: I had 2 win conditions. My primary consisted of finding, and killing (or being the lead in his lynch) of John G. After he was daykilled Day 1, I got a PM from the mod telling me my mission failed. My main win condition therefore switched to a normal town player.

Also, killing Batman was an accident. There is actually a pretty good chance I was helping him 8-)
The lack of a night kill this night is possibly my doing. I targeted edoc this night, and now NO kill?

And to finish my post, a little bit of metagaming.
Commander is known to be the first one to post right after a good town night, with applause how well the night is. Referencing C9 mafia, he was the one to win the game as mafia.

Added to spiesr's accusations of commander, I think he makes the best lead for now.

I indeed impersonated nag. The Bogeyman is a super-doc, it blocks all incoming actions, so I protected you, spiesr, figuring that with your proposed plan yesterday you would be the target for a kill to frame me. So unless you're bulletproof or something, I think someone went after you, hence the lack of a death.

My battery is dying and I have to read the Lebowski game, I'll post more thoughts later tomorrow.
