I see ptlowe as a newish player and was told by a scummate to have a fake claim ready and he thought he was under pressure so he claimed. Just a guess but I'm thinking Wing is his scum buddy and trying to get the attention off him if he gets lynched.

As to inactives i think they arent great lynch targets but make excellent targets for NAs.
Lynching inactives does not show us much about players.motivations whereas vigging/investigating/watching them prevents scum from trying to take the scummarine route.
I think benga/virus are good targets for tonight,any player that isnt really saying/doing much during the day needs to be handled at night.

also, you guys have to keep in mind that scum is not guaranteed to hit town every night. They could very well kill other scum, which would be great for town. We might even be at an advantage due to there being multiple mafia factions

This is more along the lines of what you want to look for when it comes to inactives. There are plenty of RL reasons for someone not to participate in a game, but if you see someone posting elsewhere on the forum and avoiding this game, then it's more scummy. Ideally, everyone is very active, all the time. But rarely do you have a game like that.

1.Metsfanmax - leaning town; decent input
2.TimWoodbury - leaning town; his actions and claim strike me as a new town player wanting to prove himself. Don't want to pursue him at this point because he'll either be NK'd soon or we'll be able to hold him accountable for his kills.
4.WingCmdrGinkapo - can't tell if he's just trying to mix stuff up or is honestly scum. I don't like how hard he's gone after ptolwe, whom I read as town. I've also had other polar opposite reads (AoG comes to mind), which concerns me as well. However, idk if he'd be making this much noise and potentially attracting attention to himself if he's malicious. He's in the top 5 people, so my guess is that he gets NK'd within the first 2 night if he's town.
5.dazza2008 *Pixar* - no idea. pixar is always impossible to read for me
6.Army of GOD - didn't like his posts for a long time. He's picked up his activity since I started calling him out. I'm not as hot to trot on him as I was at first, but he's still on my short list.
7.Endgame422 - leaning town
8.Whatsausage - no idea. guy seems to come and go. Could use some more posting from him.
9.virus90 - same read as sausage, but he participates even less but it's par for the course for him.
10.Streaker - leaning town - would like to hear more reads from him since people seem to regard him as town
11.HotShot53 neutral to scummy. needs to step it up quite a bit.
12.dakky21 - neutral to leaning town. At first I thought his claim was new guy wanting to prove his role (see Tim) but he's dropped off quite a bit.
13.ptlowe - leaning town. I might be alone in this but he strikes me as classic new player
14.madmitch - neutral - had him leaning town based on claim (see dakky and tim) but now I'm not so sure. playing up his ignorance quite a bit and I think he knows more than he's letting on. He's been in quite a few mafia games recently to all of a sudden not understand that 2 separate mafias can't communicate.
15.benga - kinda scummy. not adding much, not sure if he's consciously doing this or new to the game

I'm not terrible strong on anyone's guilt or innocence. Even though I'm more and more at odds with Wing, I think he'll get targeted for a NK sooner than later. So many killing factions will be out tonight, and that's even if Tim stays home. If he's town, he'll have 3 killers coming for him because he's active and will eventually sniff someone out. If he's SK or mafia, he'll still have 2 factions + possibly Tim coming after him for the same reasons. Better enjoy this game while it lasts, Wing. lol

-wing pushes around to get more info out of people, as I said before he might be PR town or mafia, but he is exposing himself a bit to much just to be town, he is hunting to see what can he do over N1, from where does threat lie
-pt had that period of confusion/bad reactions, last from what I observed he went irritated at mine posts, not sure why, but that might also mean he truly is town
-pixar just dropped in conveniently, he is in good position, he just went under radar

I would say no, but seeing how we needed to get a player to replace midway through the week, I am willing to consider a 1-day extension if it will be absolutely necessary (10 days is a fair length, in my opinion, and this is an official game).

So far my three biggest scum reads are ptlowe, madmitch and benga.

My biggest town reads are dakky, Epi and Mets

1.Metsfanmax-Mets is always tough to read D1 imo.
He has played like i would expect a town PR,giving his opinion but not pushing superhard or making a bunch of noise. Soft town.
2.TimWoodbury I think hes town. His play seems too obvious to be scum.
3.Epitaph1 IDK here. Epis case on wing is pretty solid(for D1) but im unsure about him.Soft town.
4.WingCmdrGinkapo mixed feelings here. He does not seem to be playing scummy(why jump off PT when its his best chance at surviving the day?)but hes also kind of all over the place by the same token. Soft town.

6.Army of GOD- He was pretty confident in my scumminess but has now totally dropped it with a number of players thinking im town(no traction there) i dont really agree with his reads on whos town with exception to dakky. Im saying soft scum.
8.Whatsausage I would like more from sausage. Id guess town but not real sure there.
9.virus90 Who knows? Hard to read off next to zero posts. If i were tim id blast him tonight. Not like hes helping town by not voting/posting.
10.Streaker-Soft town,asking questions and leading us away from lynching low drafted players looks pretty townie to me.
11.HotShot53 Scum. Ive made my case but i do note the early bandwagon on wing.
12.dakky21 Town-His random claim seems about right for town dakky.
13.ptlowe-Soft town,i think he is following his instincts which isnt typical of scum.
14.madmitch-Soft scum,disappearing until called out seems more defensive then i expect out of a VT mitch.
15.benga-Soft scum,his reads were basically just following the status quo of either wing/PT is scum and end/dakky are town.

I honestly have a hard time reading mitch as scum. While I agree on the post where AoG called mitch out, mitch was able to provide a good answer to my question regarding said post. His posts are also surprisingly coherent, and seems upset for being pressured.
This might bite me in the ass later on, but I read mitch as slight town.

Most of you consider wing as scummy, I'd say there is 1 scum between Epi and wing. If one of them dies, and flips town, I'd be all over the other one to lynch. Wing manages, as usual, to get shit going on D1 with a good push on ptlowe, but this is probably also the easiest thing to do for a mafia wing. The one thing that is a scum tell in his play to me is his 'not pushing as hard as he could'.
Epi same thing but has picked up the pace after I called that out, but is more likely town with his pressure on everyone to make more reads.

PTlowe continues to make a good number of posts, but this close to deadline he is really just chilling back and watching the clock tick. No pushing from him, except a small crusade vs inactives.

My main town reads still include dakky, tim and endgame.

Mod, if we could get a 1 day extension (because Sunday's are the worst for activity, myself included) that would be great.

Probably the most funny thing to happen would be wing-epi scumpair. If town can't follow me on the ptlowe wagon, I will switch my vote to wing if that ensures a lynch by deadline.


AoG, explain your town read on Epi please? Same for your main town read of Mets.
Whatsausage surprisingly inactive, if someone is to be punished for scummarining, it's this one. And virus seriously needs to be replaced if he doesn't show up by tomorrow. I believe there are active replacements on standby.

Glad to see some reads coming out. I don't agree with every read, but it's helpful nonetheless. Now, we need to get on the same page regarding whom to lynch or no lynch.

Who is everyone willing to lynch? Reading someone as soft scum or slightly scummy is different than being willing to lynch someone on D1.

As for me, I'd lynch mitch or HS.

I can't decide if wing is scum or not, but like I said earlier, I think he gets blown away sooner than later.

I liked benga's response and reads enough to not want to vote for him today.

not much too it specifically. I've just liked their posts from a town perspective. They seem to be aiding the scumhunting effort without trying too hard in my opinion.
