Day 1 Post #4.
Neb here again, with my booming voice...although not sure why it's not booming.
I think I'm glad the Yomiel train has slowed down, for some conversation to at least take place. Yomiel, please add to the conversation rather than just screaming, "LYNCH ME NOW! LYNCH ME NOW!"
Oh...crap...looks like wagon is back on. /, I like the point about a player randomly killing. Yomiel's role seems rather tough to deal with, but what do you expect when you request a "bomb" as your character? Seems like Pan was having fun with this role? Perhaps, we still let him lynch himself? That way he can't kill any townies on the lynch? Or perhaps Crazy's "plan" from earlier in the day? I'm afraid that, as a bomb, he will act like a bomb and kill the lyncher.
No matter what, it seems that Yomiel has only successfully distracted town from finding mafia (if he truly is town). But he is right, that if we keep him around, we will just end up lynching him tomorrow...or at least drawing all the attention away from the mafia, again.
I say we get a vote count, and then have Yomiel hammer himself. It's the only "safe" play we have, I think.
You're chasing Amy.

Yomiel wrote:I've offered to cast the final vote on me myself, so that pretty much shoots down the idea that I kill the last person to vote for me.
And if I were Mafia, wanting to die would make no sense, since odds are my very existence would help them eliminate Townies. No need to kill me for a few turns at least, for them.
Yomiel wrote:If everyone who tried to lynch me died, then there would be no game. And even if you were right and I were able to choose my kill from those who voted for me,then you would still kill me and be able to use my death as Mafia to try and figure out who the other members are. The result of someone dying will be the same, in that case, as you not killing me.
Also, you seem to forget that the host did not align anyone. All of our alignments are random.
Whether you believe me or not, killing me is the best option. If I'm Town, I've no reason to lie. If I'm Mafia, then your goal is to kill me anyway.
Yomiel wrote:I was more important in NCIS than you realize, but talking about the game outside of the thread for it is against the rules.
I'm not Mafia, and your "logic" doesn't make sense. If I were Mafia, I would not be trying to get you to kill me. The Mafia are always small in number, and they need to outnumber the Town in order to win. I've even offered to cast the final vote on me myself, for those people who think that person would be in danger. If I am kept alive, my power will kill an extra player each Day phase and possibly kill me as well. That's a bad risk.
Yomiel wrote:That would completely upset the game's balance. If I were a Mafia member who got so strong upon death that I was willing to die even though it would lessen my team's numbers even more, then my role would have to be far too powerful to exist. With alignments being decided at random, the host had to have created everyone's roles very carefully. The easiest way to prove my role is to kill me. And do you really think there would be a role that gained powers upon death? That's even more game-breaking.
