Well, I couldn't find anything that said if the scenes would be pure fluff or somehow based off of actually events. If it is based off of events then today's agenda will be pretty straightforward. (Have the robber come forwards and tells us who he gave the axe too, then lynch that person.)crazymilkshake5 wrote:All was calm in the city of Woodstock. Except for one house.
The Robber that snuck into the house yesterday, gave the ax away.
The person who he gave the ax to, Just happened to be a murderer, so he broke into a house, and chopped the owner to bits.
Sending the whole town to figure out who done it.

Yomiel wrote:It says the Robber gave the Ax away, so maybe he did so to keep my item? But that would still be really strange. Why keep my item over an Ax? And why give an Ax away? Or maybe he is forced to give away his current item when he steals a new one? Honestly, I don't get it either. The host just said I no longer have my item.
When were you notified of said item's disappearance? The axe from the scenes appears to have been taken during Day 1. If yours was taken overnight it might indicate that it was a separate entity involved.Yomiel wrote:It says the Robber gave the Ax away, so maybe he did so to keep my item? It is a good thing then, that finding this out is as simply as looking back through your pms. Or if you lost it so some foolish reason, just pming the mod and asking.Yomiel wrote:I lost it during the Night.
I'm not sure I CAN say what it is. Part of what made the item so useless was all the restrictions placed on it's use. I can't recall if one of them was not saying what it was in the thread.

pershy wrote:Interesting. I can confirm that I checked out Neb as I was suspicious of him and he had a walkie talkie. I don't know anything else but this could verify some of what Yomiel is saying. Why he would have a walkie talkie I don't know, but it seems that he could be masoned? Even though his character was not revealed to be a mason. Yomiel is hinting at something. This clears him a little in my eyes, unless there's some way of him knowing that as mafia. Hang on a minute Yomiel. Are you saying you lost a walkie talkie? I'm confused. Why would you have lost it to Neb if he was VT? Or did you lose something else? Maybe more than one people have walkie talkies if you're saying you had one and lost it. All I can bring to the conversation is that Neb was a walkie talkie carrier. I thought it was going to be useless info but it might lead somewhere.

Anyhow, Perhsy, did you find anything interesting last night?

spiesr wrote:My interpretation of the walkie talkie deal. Based on Yomiel's claim it appears that: Yomiel and Nebuchadnezzar both had a walkie talkie item. This item allowed them some form of limited communication. (From the sound of it, it seems as if their messages had to be sent through the mod.) Yomiel is claiming a lot of restrictions on what you could say with it, which in my opinion severely hamper the potential usefulness. Additionally, he says that the owners of these items could choose to voluntarily give up their item, passing it to another player. (Yomiel, if you gave up the walkie talkie could you choose you got it next, or was it "random.")
One thing to keep in mind about all of this, is that this claim itself doesn't clear Yomiel as being town. There isn't any reason why an owner of this pseudo mason item couldn't be scum.
spiesr wrote:Zimmah is basically making a strawman argument here. I don't believe that Pershy, or anyone else, ever really indicated that he thought Zimmah was trying to tie him up by making a case on him so he couldn't make a case a against a scum mat or something.zimmah wrote:funny how you keep saying i'm silencing you from your case, yet you never presented any in the first place. and besides, let's assume you DID have a (solid) case on anyone, wouldn't i just make it worse for both myself ánd whoever i'm 'protecting' if i made such a fuzz about you? think about it, do i look that stupid to you? This is interesting. It seems to me like you are tying to win support for your case by simply saying it is awesome, and in my opinion you aren't really able to back this claim up at all. This case has non-trivial flaws that pershy has pointed out, and which you seem to be completely missing the point of.zimmah wrote:i believe this is one of the best day 1 cases i have ever seen in fact. it's way up there at least, tell me if i'm wrong.

Unvote vote spiesr ... jokevote stage is designed to bring out scumminess. Jokevote stage is officially over (for me anyway). That was one of the scummiest comments I've seen in a long time. Defensive, unnecessary, finger-pointy, pious, rediculous, smarmy, high-flalutent, finger-pointing, obfuscatory, all round scummy. The Vodean and Ymiel stuff is fluff but your response is scum on the nose. You want discussion? Discuss!
