Are we at lynch or lose here, or not? There may have been 4 mafia in the original setup, but I find that unlikely, especially with all these killers in the game. Either way, we have to vote and lynch very carefully.

We need to look back to Day 2 and see who looked scummy, and go off of that. I haven't re-read yet, so I have nothing to add at this time.

I don't think so. While it appears that there are at least three anti-town players left, I think only two are from the same faction. I could be wrong though.

I guess I got unlucky in my vote descisions. Im not to adept at the knowledge of OOTS so I thought it could be plausible, and as for /'s lynch, it was an accident (but he was gonna get lynched even if I didn't place the last vote). I agree this explanation is terrible, and if I was in your guy's position I would probably vote myself. Only thing I can do to protect myself is a claim, so should I just get along with it or are we still gonna debate?

The worst case scenario would seem to be that we mistakenly lynch the 7th player and that they were pro-town. Or I guess if two people claim the same person and we get the wrong one again.
It might workout for us. I am not sure that all the baddies would be able to come up with believable fake claims that wouldn't be spottable as minor characters being faked. We would have to watch out to make sure that we make the right lynch though or we would probably be screwed.

Its day one so we should lynch someone to get more info. I'm going by others's comments on the oracle and assuming ur third party or at least the most suspicious.

After re-reading, I find kwanton the most suspicious. He hasn't posted since page 12, and his last post was the hammer on sheep, shown above. Kwanton's hammer was probably just him bussing his scumbuddy to avoid suspicion once kwanton figured that sheep was beyond saving. To add to this, Kwanton did not comment at all on sheep's actions or the bandwagon on sheep, then, he hammered sheep stating that other people find sheep scummy.

I agree, but I think kwanton should claim first because I find him the scummiest. We should have the scummiest players go first, and have the non-scummy players go last.

I'm O'chul, and my role is tough townie. Basically it takes two people to target a kill against me for me to die. I assume I am one of those people who survived an attack, presumably the first person because he says "You think thats enough to kill me?" assuming it takes more to kill me yet it implies he is not invincible.

Hmm this appears to check out, O-chul isn't exactly a main character but it seems to fit the game and it doesn't seem like a likely fake claim. I am convinced, unvote

Seems to be plausible with the scene. I have been wondering who the last character in the game is and this seems like as good of answer as any. It could depend on when exactly Iliad wrote the characters for this game as O'chul's part wasn't until fairly recently. Either a good claim or a well thought out fake one. Either of which would explain why he was so ready to give it when accused today. Would Fircoal choose to save will and would someone choose to kill him? That train of thought seems to lead to WIFOM and not a lot else.

I don't buy it kwan. You say that you can send messages to a town aligned player who is not yet dead? If you were truly town then there the only other town players would be Roy, Elan, & Varsuuvius and none of them fit that role. Vote kwanton for now.

I doubt at all, you haven't used your action yet? With so many killing roles to be found I find this highly unlikely.
According to the internet the role may make sense but it seems minor and not very likely, on the wiki site his alignment is listed as "unknown". Another thing is I am sure you would have been replaced if you weren't using your night action, there were other people who got replaced and without talking during the day why wouldn't you have been? Not to mention you just admitted to have been lurking for the last few days.

Yeah that was meant for iliad only but I accidently ended up PMing half the game.

I, like PMC did was originally going to make a case against William18 as I found his behaviour highly suspicious - hammering the claimed tracker when he had supposedly guessed his night action correctly. I know there is a case that a mafia tracker may have existed but I have never ever seen that in a game, so frankly william's actions yesterday baffled me. I also was suspicious of fircoal but wrongly so, I found that he was dead set on lynching / yesterday making strong comments like there was no way hayley could be a tracker even when he was on wikipedia as a scout and weakening my lyncher argument (nag catches out another lyncher, anyone remember seinfeld mafia? no? yeah I'm an oldie).

As for Kwan's role I won't vote yet but I find the claim rather weak and this whole night action thing having not been used terribly dodgy.. but I'll let others speak first.

Also, I am surprised we are resorting to a mass-claim as it seems like a lousy way to play a game of mafia, which is meant to be about deception rather than just a lucky dip, I thought we discussed this in lord of the rings mafia about how mass claims suck but never mind I guess.

I wonder if it is possible that the mafia can win tonight after we lynch kwanton.
If he is a baddie but not in the main mafia group that would leave 4 townies and 2 mafia members. If two townies get killed at night the mafia wins. With the number of attempt kills we have had two deaths doesn't seem that implausible.
If he is a member of the main mafia group then that group would still have one member and there would be one other enemy. Then I don't know exactly how that plays out.

This is all of course true for anyone we lynch, but still FOS anyone trying to rush us into night too horribly fast...

Mr. Scruffy is the pet house-cat of the late Lord Shojo, and was a part of Shojo's deception of the upper class of Azure City. Shojo uses Mr. Scruffy as a part of his complex ruse to pretend that he is senile by taking orders from the cat and listening to and being persuaded by Mr. Scruffy's "advise" on important matters.

A very likely story. There are three OOTS characters left and probably three anti-town characters left, and you claim to be a pet house-cat? Seriously. I am now 99% sure you are mafia. I agree with pmc in that we should lynch kwan today and continue our massclaim tomorrow. If we continue the massclaim today, we are likely to get 2 claim/counter-claim pairs and one confirmed townie out of our 5 remaining unclaimed players. I don't see us being able to get a better lynch than kwanton today.

If my accusation that kwanton was bussing sheep day 1 is correct, kwanton will be a part of the main mafia group. I doubt that the mafia can win tonight if we lynch Kwanton.
