I have asked the mod if I am allowed to post the message he sent. The wand would have come to me on night 3. There was not a spell attached to the message.

FP by the PM from the mod. Basically that is the content of the message. I cannot quote more verbatim, but I got a wand n3. I was not told of any abilities related to the wand including spells, but I was told the wand granted me no new ability.

That does actually raise a good point on how the wand would work in mafia's hands. Would they still need to kill other mafia? Would they now need to kill town? Would the mod blow a gasket and decide the spell only really works in town hands? Anyway you look at it though, I still can't find a way that it makes sense for a town GT to not be able to use it unless Charm had the mafia equivalent of that role but that role if true doesn't make sense in mafia's hand as they know who the non-mafia are.

As far as my end I think the mod just flavor wise squibbed my character. I guess the only thing out of the wands that confuses me is that if Mtam is the disarmer and he said he was going to give storr a present n1 and presumably wasn't lying, why does he later state the wands go to a random person. Storr never got a wand so we cannot really test if people without magical abilities can use a wand, but I cannot figure out why someone wouldn't be able to use a wand they got. If charm has some kind of one shot must hit a scum vig, I probably should have been able to use it if she was telling the truth.

Yeah...still not believing that explanation for why you can't use it. As far as I can tell the entire point of why the wands float around instead of disappearing is that others should be able to use them when they are received. No one is claiming to have received wands N1 or N4 so Mtam's N4 target (DD I think?) is likely telling the truth about not having a wand. Storr as well though there is more chance that the player who could have received a wand from Storr has since died.

One of charm gt us scum. I don't see both as scum.

Either gt lies about can't using it. Or its a mafia wand which is why he can't use it.

I mean maybe I can be disarmed? Honestly I didn't really bother thinking much about the wand because I can't do anything with it and it didn't change anything for me game wise.

If it is random who gets it, then it would just be up to whoever has it go their way to claim it, like in hindsight I should have.

No point. Either you are mafia or charm is. Disarm you If you are town means mafia can get a wand back.

Strike, I am leaning charm for lynch personally.
Her name claim
her spell claim
her vig ability claim.

The "can't talk vote is stolen"

Also did dazza claim wandless?

But which curse? Crucio seems to be in play. Imperius is. That leaves Avada Kedavra and that seems to be what mafia has been using rto kill.

I don't think they are limited to 3 spells. Also possible to rotate the spells between each other imo.

I would assume they have the ability to rotate them if on flips mafia are being revealed as death eaters and not mafia hitman or something like that.

Yes rotation makes sense but if we are getting into town cant use mafia abilities than it becomes a bit of a flavor discussion and there are three unforgiveable curses. Even in such cases that the ability rotates I would think it probable from a game mechanic perspective that those abilities would still be lost to mafia. Otherwise Mtams ability can only harm town.

True. So maybe can't rotate. But I think mafia have more than 3 spells.

Hmm. Well, with what Nurse Wolf said I now believe that Streaker is town. I was figuring that Cruciatus was the message for being roleblocked, but since Streaker's thing worked last night and I got RB'd, I guess they don't give a message and Cruciatus is a different thing.

I'm thinking town not knowing how to use scum want makes more sense than scum not knowing how to use town wand. I feel like I'm missing something - why is charm only being cooperative with the 3rd party?

Vote charm

How did Mudpuppy know that his wand went to Strike? Was that info sent to him? He seemed to trust Strike really early and I never got why at the time. Did I miss something?

When did he say he disarmed me? I read back a few pages and can't see that.
