I disagree, mass claims are boring when the setup is known or the theme is known. They take the fun out of a game. I think there should be a rule agianst them in themed games.

Ok, I finished smoking, grabed supplies and changed the lemming's water (but not the food because he still has some left in bowl and he is fat anyway. Like a miniature furry piglet. Reminds me of Fircoal back when he was younger. Except for the fact that the lemming isn't yellow with red cheeks. And Fircoal doesn't run around a wheel all day long. At least I don't think that he does. Who can know for sure.)

Mr. Squirrel wrote:My idea was if there was a massclaim, then the scum would be forced to make up a town role. We would know they were scum, because no one would have submitted that role. However, this backfires on the townie who recieves the role that the scum submitted. The scum would obviously not claim to have submitted that role and the townie would be lynched. See what I mean?

Kewl. Bulletproof is back on the table.

BTW, normal roles only. No all-knowing-indestructible-killing machines, ok PMC? ;)

You should name a faction in the pm and have people give a role, so that way they won't necessarily be part of that faction, which will keep balance, and then randomly mix up the roles later.

It would also be cool to have a theme in the next round where we make up roles, that would provide lots of opportunities.

That's what I thought at first but everyone was talking about not doing this or that role because it'd be overpowered, so I thought it was something else.

Maybe it would be best if we tried this again tomorrow night then. I really like this idea of pick-your-own-roles, but I don't think it will reach its full potential in a 4 person game.
