The thing is it would have been believable to send it to deg and I dont think it would have lead to much if he died. Like no one could really prove it wrong. Having said that, to not send something to deg or strike seems like a weird choice. Charm could have literally not changed anything as a scum role and you would have gotten the same information if virus wasn't scum.

So in essence your best case scenario was hoping you hit a scum pair exactly. Otherwise any number of people would have made more sense to send the message to.

FP strike is a mason?

- Deg wasn't dead during N2 or N3.
- Strike is very very very likely a town mason.

End this quickly as you don't like the spell the mod gave me. I agree I was pissed Dobby was VT and useless and never cared for my ability either but if you really think it is such a bad spell then will step out and let town fight mafia on their own. I can't justify poor flavor...lol

If the message related to 2 towns it would only make those 2 towns more suspicious;
If the message related to 1 town 1 mafia, the mafia would have an easy time firing shots at the townie;

Talap claims the message is intended to root out the mafia. What it does in reality is turn town against each other.

I mean masons are pretty exclusively townies and strike is pretty clearly a mason with the dead mets.

I was a friendly neighbor once, where essentially all i could do is send someone a message saying i was a townie, had no confirmation if they got it or not. If you would have just sent strike a message saying sup fellow townie bro, you would have cleared yourself.

I do think the idea that me, storr, and aage are some scum trio mastermind kinda funny. Considering i am trying to vote storr every day i dont think we have scum and aage has said multiple times he thinks i am scum.

I'm fine with discussing but because "it's a bad spell" is exactly the reason we went down this road with Dobby. It is what it is so will throw my vote down. I don't think you or storr are scum for the record but I'd be damn surprised if our Pro-town hero GT was really so pro town. I think strike is right that GT is not the good guy

Quite the opposite. I got you all discussing the possibility of players talking to one another. I tried pushing this idea before but repeatedly got shot down. Once the mason pair had half die no one was willing to push this.

I got exactly the info I was looking from the messages I posted. I had a problem with storr and he didn't hesitate to alert town when he received the message something was up. Same from charm, though I never really bought into the whole charm was scum thing. But knew I couldn't send it deg or strikes way as they may be targets so chose someone who might be scum but I was unsure of and liked that she didn't change the message. Honestly had I not said anything you'd never know if she changed it or not.

Yes, but I am the guy who is openly considering there is cult and with strike damn near confirmed a mason buddy he would be perfect to recruit just like HP and his two friends but again no one liked this topic the other day so dropped it.

Regardless of who is scum and who is town, and what ability you have with what flavour. Voting for yourself is bad form. Regardless of your role, nobody should want to die in this game. Please stop feeling sorry for yourself and unvote. When other players start responding you can discuss your role and maybe you'll even convince some people.

Doesn't change my stance on pushing for lynch, but this kind of behaviour makes me sad.

What idea did you want to push - people talking to each other outside of the thread? Mafia usually has a QT or communicate via PM, and non-mason town usually can't talk at all outside of thread.

Legilimens is not exactly a comfort to have around - remember, Harry spent almost a year learning to defend himself against it in the books.
I'm not experienced enough as a mafia player to say how Tal could have used that ability better, but I don't see the logic in the way he did use it.

Sigh it has nothing to do with feeling sorry for myself. I figured I'd try to play it that way as I would much rather be taken out as my other town counterparts. Obviously, I'm not alone ;) . And no for the last time we aren't a damn cult. But I'm fairly sure one exists.

That's asking a lot. We'll see what happens. That person however will have to post the first half of my message and I will post the last half and at least that way it will prove what I can do. But besides that we will get nothing out of it and that assume I and that person survive the night.
