Someone post a good reason why I should vote for someone. I have nothing to go on and I want someone to make up my mind.

Just wondering if anyone has read/commented on my posts. Of the pitiful amount of people who are actively posting, it seems like there is a pitiful fraction of them are actually saying anything meaningful.

We have a unprovoked day 1 vanilla claim. We have a person threatening a random daykill because "he's bored." We countless people obsessing over deadbeat players as if not being here makes them scum (it doesn't btw). And maybe that's the reason we're getting so bored; because so many people are threatening and voting people who aren't here and who will not respond. It does not make for exciting mafia, arguing with nobody, so just ignore them for now and work with what we've got.

And if that's not enough to give you ideas, I quit.

@duday - well done on spotting that comment by /. Could be a non-vanilla townie, or could be scumzorz, but we'll have to keep an eye on him.

do we want to lynch someone that isn't even paying attention or try to find actual scum type posts in the game? If SFX and ace are only being voted because of not being here, I would urge someone else get voted and we get them replaced by someone dying during the day/night if they don't have any superfluous knowledge about the game.

I do in fact belong to the vanilla townie claim, its not my fault that my predecessor chose to claim so randomly and early... but I don't know why I would pick up votes for it... does it really seem like the actions of a mafia to claim vanilla townie straight away? No it doesn't, this bandwagon frankly stinks of a witch hunt from a bunch of players who have no better leads because no one is posting. I thought I'd let the game settle down a bit before posting my thoughts but this is ridiculous... now how about we find some mafia eh? FOS all those who have chosen to bandwagon me.

Definitely could be. An early claim is a big risk, certainly, chancing on whether any cop- or watcher-type roles follow through with an investigation, but if the claim is accepted then the scum has a ticket to the endgame.

Is be-all, end-all evidence? No, it's really not. Is it enough to warrant a reasonable amount of suspicion? Definitely, in my opinion. I'll just say that a bandwagon doesn't have to result in a lynch, but it generates meaningful discussion. Frankly, I don't see how we will find mafia any other way.

I phrased that poorly, but I wasn't saying that you were scummy. I was trying to say was you are probably a nonvanilla role based on what you said, but simply that we shouldn't discount the possibility of you being scum.

Rankle... I like that.

It's good that you're rankled because that's what I'm trying to do. People tend to say more interesting things when they're wound up a bit.

Anyway, no one seemed to be the one to start something, so I did (and I would've done the same to safari were he still playing, by the way... I feel that claim was quite questionable).

anyways, mod, can we get a list of who's playing/alive somewhere? obviously, pancakemix isn't updating his list (he could, I guess [stares pointedly]) but you have a page 1 post you could use.

? how is that not the same as letting Colton replace someone else, if you are letting Nag have 2 rolls? And Colton... over my dead body will I allow you to take my spot back...

The difference is that Colton's character is not dead (you). If I let colton replace somebody else, then he has the unfair advantage of knowing what your role is. Since my character died, Nagerous does not know more than anybody else. I'll consider letting colton back in if your character dies because then he would not know more than anybody else.

Day 2

As the new day dawned, everyone realized that someone did not get up that morning. A quick headcount revealed that Senfive was not among them. A search revealed that he had been dragged to death under a wagon sometime in the middle of the night. A quick rifling through his belongings uncovered a pentagram and some red candles. There was no doubt about it, Senfive was a member of a cult.

Senfive (Cultist) has been killed.

It is now day 2.

pmchugh has requested to be replaced. Since Senfive was killed, this makes Colton eligible to replace him. I will monitor the thread. Please post your thoughts about it. If we can find another replacement, that would be good as well as some people are not being very active.
