speaking of confirms and cases around those, benga confirmed "congerm" leading me to think he is Germany... Samlen said "confirmerino" from which it is obvious something about Merino which is a type of wool which originated from Spain but modern Merino is domesticated in Australia. In both ways, both benga and Samlen sound as "civilized" countries.

I suppose confirmations can indeed suggest information about any given player. For example, could your confirmation perhaps suggest you are infact Great Britain during the time period of the 1980's -1990's?

Pretty sure the whole germany thing comes from this post in which dakky makes leaps of logic to assume that benga softclaimed germany. I do'nt remember benga outright stating that they are germany so I think it's just people making assumption again

Skoffin you are entitled to your opinion and I am entitled to mine. Either way the scum probably have fake claims of civilisations either if they are in my view possibly barbarians so we can't rely on people's soft claims in any case as gospel.

How many civilisations are there in the most recent game? I have only played CIV 3 and CIV 1 (I am ooold) where I think there were 8 including Shaka of the Zulus and Stalin

He said they "probably" have fake claims, and made a very logical statement... if he was a scum with a fake claim he'd never bring up the suggestion, so I think your vote here is misplaced.

As for benga, he seems to be as confused as the rest of us whether he has the same PM as everyone else... I have been in enough games where the mods intentionally change up role PM's to prevent scum hunting via role PM comparisons, that I don't try to do that anymore. Plus, if scum have no idea what the town win conditions are, they are unlikely to participate in the discussion, and usually it's just town fighting town.

Samlen thinking it might be a free-for-all (although later retracted under pressure) makes me think he might be a third-party survivor or something.

The eras change during the game, and have no effect on what civilisations are in the game so Benga's soft claim of Germany is still valid. I don't think someone who is town would soft claim in the confirm stage though - I mean who does that? That is why my thought process makes me think that he could be scum trying to buy early support through use of a fake claim. His early attempted cosying up to Dakky also makes me suspicious, and this is not just me trying to find evidence to build a case out of thin air, I already made my feelings about DOFs known.

No you haven't you have posted twice since I asked my question to you and neither answer why you think we all have different objectives? If your answer is because the game is a FFA then that is not good enough. My objective in this game is very clear and if you are not aligned with the town objective then you are th enemy vote benga

I don't have anything about uncivilized in pm, I draw my conclusion from my experience with civ games and about dakky from my past experience with him.

Re-reading last few pages I noticed I did bring up the possibility of uncivilized nations and even said my PM said so, but actually I was very wrong. There was no mention of uncivilized, that's just what I assumed as the opposite to civilized is ... uncivilized. So barbarians and similar bad guys should be possible as well.

You said ' guess we all have different objectives then' and suggested there is a FFA element - basing these comments on what Samlen also incorrectly posted. My guess is one of you is scum who has slipped up but I am doc using my attentions on you for now because there have been a couple of other things you have done that I have found questionable. Now you have bastardised your initial statement by saying we all do as in you meant town, third party and Mafia - that is not a case of us all having different objectives or 'FFA' but only three separate potential objectives. First off why do you think that Nag is claiming doctor? Doesn't that seem a bit weird? Mitch is correct here. There is no reason for another town member to expect a doc claim. So either you're trying to set a trap or you're clueless.

Second you didn't even bother to check Nag's second post which he corrected the typo. So if you're trying to set up a trap it's a pretty poor one. Explain just what you're trying to do here. What made you compelled to think that Nag is a doctor?

To be fair people knowing you didn't stop them from trying to jump their votes onto you after a couple of early posts anyway.

But I would like to put a counter argument. It is possible Benga is a scum who knows Dakky is town. He may be trying to protect Dakky in order to make it look like he's town when either Dakky dies and is town or when the tide changes on Dakky. In any case it's a win-win for him, and it's not that hard to do either. Just point out the fact that Dakky is always an easy lynch. Seems like a nice plan for scum.

Well, yeah, I assumed benga thought it weird too, because he asked if nag was actually making a doc claim, and if so, why. Seems a reasonable question if you think someone might have claimed doc on day 1. Why benga didn't see the corrected next post though, I have no idea.

so you decided in the middle of a page to respond i can see that as i do it myself respond to things as i see them.
so why would you not continue to finish the page before going to bed?? and also if he had in fact claimed doc why would you as town wanna point it out so quickly...cant be in towns interest to point that out as if he was doc he would be needed would he not be...you played enough that you would know not to point that out,However it can be looked at from the opposite side as skum you wouldnt wanna point it out either for the same reason i above pointed out. im unshure of you at the momemt and not going to rush a vote
