You are reading that backwards. Storr was suggesting that N1 Mtam could have recruited him (under cult logic) which would have jived with what was posted in the thread. There was never any real conversation that Storr was targeting Mtam as Storr claimed a squib. If Ragian flips as Dumbledore, it would more or less confirm Storr has no wand as for some reason he wasted a check on him N1.

Sorry doing this from phone which is damn hard to quite anything and was actually someone else's I was going to grab. I get the whole storr may be recruited thing which was why in my first post I asked if you would be any more suspicious of mud had he buddies up to storr instead of strike because I would have been.

But to your point there are several posts stating they don't but the Dumbledore claim. Unless some cult is recruiting these town claimed roles I really don't know why someone would think Dumbledore is a fake claim. Like I said if we go through that door then we have to gun for HP next and the thought that both may be fake claims in that case is scary.

Talapus if Dumbledore is not a fake claim, then you should be for a mass name claim yes?

Of course not....there is still too much going on for that. So far only town and third party has been hurt. Maybe if we start knocking off some mafia we can come back to a claim idea in a few game days but that seems like a terrible idea. I also don't like the fact the only way to know is to lunch Dumbledore. The curse should never have been used but if it really is Dumbledore we are seriously hurting ourselves.

Why didn't you push harder on me yesterday?

You were my fallback choice. You had already claimed non-town. Nothing had changed.

FYI, I would not be for a mass name claim. TMI for scum.

Is this really the general concensus of the the game is to lynch the claimed Dumbledore? I mean, after rereading and not being able to come up with a plausible explanation of why that curse would be used by him for good I understand. I will even vote for Rag myself if needed. I was just really hoping the real Dumbledore or believeable explanation would have appeared by now that can explain it all.

Also I'm curious. I know Ron has claimed and I don't want him really to come forward and say as night abilities are not needed to be claimed at this moment. But I would assume that Ron, HP, and Hermione would be masons so could probably talk at night. But for the life of me can't remember a past mafia game with multiple same faction mason groups. Has anyone encountered this before?

I ask because it makes the whole cult is probably among us thing concerning.

By this logic there is no evidence of scum either because I haven't seen them show up on the killed list. So I'll worry about both for now if you don't mind.

That wasn't why I was concerned and talked about it earlier but sure, thanks for the helpful comment.

What kind of a timeframe do we want to give others to chime in before we all hammer the one and only claimed Dumbledore? Because we might as well put on the last few votes if the consesus is blowing that way. That curse is damn hard to explain away and I have no idea how to justify it and haven't heard any other good ideas on how to either so might as well get this day ended.

I'll be throwing my vote back on tomorrow morning as I am assuming Mtam wanted time for his action before leaving which probably is Friday. Gives the mod et all time to do the thing.

If the best role claim that Dumbledore had was the same spell as McGonagall with a different effect, then I'd call it a mod kill. I don't want the real Dumbledore to expose himself. I have no worries about this lynch, and I'll cast the last vote if no one else wants to..

It's the same discussion as we had all game, basicly. D1 mtamb should have been lynched, saved by HP claim.
Pixar same story. The main difference is the crucio curse being linked to Rage now. There's really no excuse not to lynch him.
I really dislike your post in general, as you are trying to lure out the 'real' dumbledore (if any). The 'explanation' you are looking for will come anyway when he flips.
To this you add a fishing hook for Ron, which is completely pointless. The fact that you bring it up is scummy, what are you hoping to achieve with the information of the 'Big Three' being masons?

You don't need the mod for this. The question is : did you assume you couldn't? If you couldn't, then it should have been clear from whatever was in the PM about the action.

I'm not fishing, I said I didn't want anyone saying one way or the other. And I mentioned it because it is concerning if cult are in the game and flip one, not scummy in the slightest but hey think what you want.

As for finding out when Dumbledore hangs we don't win with either answer so your reassurance and pushing through to other things is complete crap.

If he is Dumbledore, then something happened last night that made others get a false read on spell used and we lose main town role.

If he isn't, than it confirms mafia have some major fake claims and we are back to square one and screwed come next day.

That's lose lose in my book but guess I'm in the minority there.

Ok let my try to explain this:

If he flips dumbledore, we are NOT back to square 1, as we will have confirmation that our major roles might be scum. Right now we are assuming they are town (despite some very scummy play) simply by the claim. We'll never know unless we flip 1 of them.

If you don't want to know about Ron, you'd not bring it up in the first place. Like I asked, what do you hope to achieve by bringing that up, but not wanting an answer? just because you say you ain't fishing doesn't mean you aint fishing.

Honestly I'm sick of defending big name claims. Here's another piece of information that Rage's flip will give us:
Deg.

Meh. I don't think it will give us much on deg. Honestly his play has been townie as hell. I'd be more inclined to think there was a scum redirect that purposely targeted Deg to one of his buddies using the Cruciatus curse because there's no way in hell that Dumbledore is using that.

unvote, vote ragian

If we aren't going to pressure someone else *cough*Endgame*cough* and nobody else is going to make a good case against someone there is no reason to extend this day any further.

In the case that I die tonight PLEASE pressure Endgame

I believe that puts Rage at L-1. Off the top of my head: virus, charm, talapus, endgame, madmitch, pixar either need to be pressured or talk more tomorrow and if any of them provide the hammer I will find it extraordinarily scummy

Game day three and we learn if either we make a huge mistake because of a night mechanic we aren't thinking about did something to make us think the best town role is scum. Or find out any name claim in this game is able to be fake with no counterparts, yes that's square one in my books....sorry. Any name claim is obsolete and any powers we think the player claim to have or have been using for town could be faked or used in a way to make them sound innocent when they aren't.

Regardless, obviously you disagree with this stance and it's fine...won't change my mind about how I see it.

If you don't want to know about Ron, you'd not bring it up in the first place. Like I asked, what do you hope to achieve by bringing that up, but not wanting an answer?[/quote]

I posted a thought on this on previous page as to why it concerned me. However at this juncture it is useless as we are all twiddling our thumbs waiting for mt before the wagon rolls over the next victim. I brought it up because it's a valid concern but obviously no one that can be verified until we lynch one and find out. I'm sure we will circle back to this though if we finally find a cult member in this game. Until then obviously it really won't matter. Thus, the mention and not an all out push.

Seriously, if you are going to pushy when a player posts their ideas you don't agree with maybe just realize others see things differently. I will refrain from discussing either of these two topics until the next game day as all we will apparently do is disagree and not sway either one which is fine.
