Either he was deliberately trying to confuse people, or he is itching to claim. Somehow, I presume some combination of the former and latter.

hmm...zelda mafia...hosted by Mr. Squirrel...Squirrel mafia...hosted by Mr. Squirrel...I think I see a pattern...this liking probably has to do with some kind of subconscious recognition with something that Zimmah has positive feelings about. Something that fulfills Zimmah's need for trust...a need that's especially important when you're mafia and have to rely on your scum buddies...
The first part of Squirrel's name is Mr. Mr. spelled out is Mister. Mister is one letter away from being Master. Master Bush is Zimmah's scum buddy.
unvote vote Master Bush

Dukasaur wrote:The cat on a moog is obviously Cait, but who is the dog? In all the walkthroughs, the only mention of a dog that I could find was Rufus' guard-dog. Is there a scene after Rufus has his epiphany and becomes a good guy, where Rufus and his dog and Cait are fighting together? So is Victor claiming to be Rufus? And since we were warned that there might be multiple copies of the same character, is it possible that Victor is the "good" post-epiphany Rufus and someone else is the "evil" pre-epiphany Rufus?
The most likely Dog (or close to it) that I could see being in the game is the one that was in the original Cloud's party - Red XIII. And yes, I'm pretty sure that Victor tried to let know whoever Cait that Victor knows who he is... Just a bit too obvious. Since he tried to communicate it through the thread, we can assume that they can't talk during the night, thus most likely not mafia, although that doesn't mean that they're town either. Cait Sith is a possible town member, but I can also see him in a different role, so the only thing that we get from this is that if Cait will end up not being town, Victor will be implicated.

Knowing game mechanics will be useful when people start claiming but it has no direct effect on seeing who is actually scum unless you believe that everyone who doesn't know game flavor is scum which is a logical fallacy.

Is there any inactives left??
NOTE: I too have never played Final Fantasy (any of them)... I'll wait for a Call of Duty Mafia game, but until then I'll just try and keep up with the chatter

I'd say a general Stephen King mafia would be better as it has almost unlimited capabilities. I was eventually planning to host something like that before my hiatus. Oh well..

Thanks! It is good to be back - I'll see if I can respark my interest especially now that finals are over. I'll take only this one game and see if I've still got time and aptitude to do things like this... And who knows what will happen
And now you've just reminded me of Firefly! Gaaah!

Unvote. Vote strike wolf.

Than he replaced Sheep who had been mafia...and got lynched again when it was down to me and him. The second one wasn't really my fault so much as it was process of elimination in general. Of course if you want to start getting all reminiscent about the times I got you killed when you were scum we could also mention Buffy mafia...
It's quite funny how vividly I remember most of the mafia games I've lost, but I struggle to remember most of the ones I did well and won. Firefly was one of the best games I've played in this forum, tho - the set up was great (thanks Edocsil!) and the majority of the game was extremely interesting without periods of extended nothingness like in some games. We can only hope that this game will turn something like that one.

P.S. It was more so Mandy that got me lynched in Buffy, if I'm not mistaken.

unvote vote Eldario You are the most inactive now.
Also, I imagine we have an Aeris in the game. However, even though you are probably the doctor, you need to die so you might as well claim now

I wonder if we can convince Square and the fanbase to accept this mafia as canon.

I had to hunt her down (which was not easy) and take it back. Bitch doesn't know who she's messin' with. Shinra and AVALANCHE would bow to us - if only I could find them... *sigh* I swear kids don't give people the respect they deserve these days. They're so rude.

Final Fantasy 2 (SNES, I think its actually FF IV) was by far my fave.
8 was my second favorite
I am normally a fan of unexpected, great twists (something of a Fight Club like twist) or dramatic events (American History X) - I guess it was just a shocker when she died,as I didn't expect that at all and was really attacher to Aerith. Then again, it was one of the things that made the game great, so I really shouldn't be complaining.
