I.B. post about a steam train being a black institution is weird and what has that to do in this game anyhow? we got to all watch out because 50% of us are town that leaves the other 50 scum.we need to hear more from the ones who are not posting regularly like cyan 1 post, sausage and dakky 2 posts . all I know that I have the peoples best interests at heart

I don't know enough about mitch to come to that conclusion. I just think that I have more faith in mitch's play than you have, Rose.

My vote is still a joke vote on streaker so I will unvote.

If mitch is lynched and flips town, it is interesting to analyse the votes on him. I would think that scum would want to get on that bandwagon early in order to appear towny. But perhaps that's WIFOM.

if mitch turns out to be town then i would think scum would be looking to lynch a more experienced townie. Certainly if i were scum I would be happy to keep mitch in the game for a while, while i looked to lynch someone more dangerous to the mafia.

There are plenty better players such as subtle and epi who brilliantly won the last game, if i were scum and one of these were town i would want to lynch them first.

others i would suspect more at the moment of being scum are those that are not posting very often. Again if i were scum i would be keeping a low profile so no-one picked up on me.

I don't fear epi at the moment. I have been shown to catch him when scum in the past. But I don't know if that only works in TNC games.

really? I would have thought that with 13 players we are looking for 3 scum, possibly 4 but no more, certainly not 50% otherwise we have lost already.

This just goes to highlight mitch's faulty gameplay, which is why i would not be surprised if he did indeed make a big mistake trying to defend ib, and now his 'steam train being a black institution being weird' is a feeble attempt to undo the damage he has done.

1. The moderator is always right. If I've made a mistake, I will do what I can to fix it. I don't mind if you point out a mistake, but my word one way or the other is final.

2. You may not edit or delete previous posts. Once submitted, your words stand.

3. You may not quote or allude to the wording of any PMs from the moderator. You may disclose the contents of your role PM (role, alignment, etc), but do so in your own words.

4. The game will not be discussed outside this thread, unless your role specifically says you can.

5. All ‘votes’ and ‘unvotes’ must be in bold, coloured red.(I.E. Vote: Bugs Bunny). If they are not, I will assume it is a joke vote and skip over it. Unvoting before voting again is helpful but not necessary.

6. Lynching requires a majority of the town vote, once the majority has been reached any unvotes will not be counted. The majority is half the players alive (round down) +1.

11. Be attentive and active in the game. You will be replaced or modkilled if you don't post. If something prevents you to participate for a long period of time, announce it here or via PM. Help everyone's enjoyment of the game by being active and sending your actions promptly.

50 percent vanilla does not mean 50/50 scum and town. It means 50 percent don't have any sort of night action to take while the other 50 do. 50/50 scum and town would mean scum has already won as town can't push through a lynch so unless town had some really powerful abilities the game would be unwinnable.

secondly, streaker, what on earth do you think i am trying to do?

Of course I am looking for a good D1 lynch, and while i accept that mitch is not a certain member of scum, its the best i have for now based on the little evidence that is currently available. If you have a better case to make against somebody, please make it and if i agree i will switch my vote.

Maybe I should explain myself a little more clearly.....should I have been cast as scum, and lets say mitch, epi subtle are among the townies, I would much prefer to get rid of epi or subtle early as they command more respect. Therefore although eventually scum will vote mitch if that is the best they can get, i would not expect them to be pushing him.

Aye. It seems as if mitch read the "50% vanilla" (i.e. VTs) as "50% town". That could be true if there were loads of 3rd party, but I doubt that...

Anyway, I also think that Rose is hammering away at an honest mistake while mitch is pounding his head against the wall because he still entertains that mistake as true.

@Rose, I understand that scum obviously would want to lynch whoever they think is the better town player. However, since mitch is the centre of attention at the moment, scum would have to steer the conversation away from mitch and onto another townie. That would be noted. Moreover, if those you mention are vets, they don't make mistakes allowing them to be on the chopping board so scum would really have their work cut out for them. Hence, scum, as I see it, would be quick to jump on an easy case.

hmm, well thanks for the link, still none too wise as to its meaning, too many big words and what if's to make a lot of sense of it.

It does seem to me that the more one posts however, the more one tries to be helpful, the more one is suspected of being scum.....maybe i should shut up and stop trying to identify scum, as the saying goes when you point a finger at someone there are 3 fingers pointing back at you.

Suffice to say that my best guess is mitch, i may be wrong, its only a guess based on flimsy evidence, but its the only evidence available.....nothing more to add, so i will shut up now for fear of being accused of scum myself....either support my hypothesis or produce an alternative for me to consider....always happy to reconsider in light of a better case put forward by someone else.

1.As far as the 50percent vanilla it does mean that roughly half of roles in this game have no special actions,they can only vote for who to lynch and use the factional kill(if they happen to be scum)

lets try it again if your skum say there is a cop and doc everyone knows doc protects cop so do you use the night kill to try to kill the cop night after night or do you try someone else knowing the doc is protecting the cop however on the other side the doc know you will try to kill somoene else knowing you protecting the doc so you protect someone else like i said its alot like reverse pshycology

Last time when Tim played "newbish" and confused, he was mafia. I was defending him like you are now. He is not "that" new to be considered town only because of the poor play.
