There had been relatively little discussion on day one by the townsfolk as per who was behind the ransom of Bunny Lebowski. However, after a mediocre debate the townsfolk quickly settled upon a target. A young Larry Sellers, the son of the famous Arthur Digby Sellers who had written 156 episodes of the show Branded. The bulk of the series, not exactly a lightweight.

This real brat was accused of stealing the dude's money and buying a corvette and the group were not happy. "We're gonna chop your dick off" one townsmember was heard to call. Another member suggested that a thief like him must be at least third party and that he was killing his father.

The fucking kid continued to stonewall however and eventually, one Walter Sobchak lost his temper with the kid and began to smash up the corvette with a crowbar.

"YOU SEE WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU F*CK A STRANGER IN THE ASS" he was heard to repeatedly yell.

The group continued to press Larry and came to a collective decision to lynch the young lad who was strung up by a tree just by a local bowling alley.

Streaker - Larry Sellers - (Thief) has been lynched!

It had been a lively night as ever in the City of Los Angeles.

Maude Lebowski was in her mansion house working on a new piece of art, one that had been commended for being strongly vaginal, when suddenly a loud smash was heard and her window was broken. "Who are you?!" she screamed. The assailant said nothing but knocked her round the head with a bowling ball, killing her with one clean hit.

Edocsil - Maude Lebowski - (Doctor) has been killed.

Elsewhere, Jackie Treehorn had been working on filming a new porn video, a sequel to Logjammin', at his beach house in Malibu with his bodyguard Woo, a well renowned carpet pisser, standing watch. Two shots were suddenly heard to be fired and when the dust settled Jackie Treehorn and Woo were both found dead on the floor.

Safariguy5 - Jackie Treehorn - (Locator) has been killed.
Got Tonkaed - Woo - (Bodyguard) has been killed.

It is now DAY 2

No deadline for now and there are 12 alive so it takes 7 to lynch!

Three deaths, not a good night. So, Treehorn and his thug were town, who will be scum then? The nihilist, the Big lebowski, or perhaps some other character that we would not expect?

Apparently that's what a locator is, I had no clue.

So I'm guessing that's how he died.

i need to re-watch the film, but i am pretty sure it wasn't this gore :s damn bloody night, and the deaths seems so random too, anyway i think that according to haggis post the locator died by choosing wrong, whatever this means (may be by finding mafia), is the first time i have seen such role, anyway I'm surprised that the guy who hammered larry made it through the night, so he is my vote for today til something better surfaces vote doom yoshi

I'll agree on the Yoshi vote. He's got some explaining to do. I do want to here what Commander came up with during his reread.

To be honest I don't think I found the doom hammer as suspicious as others. Certainly worth an investigation but didn't think it would be worth vig killing. Either way I'll wait for commander to post his thoughts before voting. Still need to reread day 1 anyways.

I am guessing the scum left me alive as they figured I would be an easy lynch today. The way I see it they killed edocsil to frame me. If I was playing as mafia, that's what I would do. An alternate is that the vig is the one who killed edoc. If so, that's very random of you. I don't think he would've been a great target. So we need to know if there is a vig out there.

I will formally apologize about my quick hammer yesterday. In the end, he turned out to be a town thief, which I regret, but I still don't understand why he didn't truthfully claim.

The main question is did anyone learn of anything worthwhile through the night? Don't come out and say it, obviously, but try to meander through a few post and let people figure it out. There are still quite a few people alive and we have to assume that the mafia is quite small, with maybe some sort of nihilistic secondary group.

Read: "I couldn't have done it! It makes too much sense!" That's WIFOM and I don't like it.

If it was a vig, I'm also curious as to the choice, but I'm not sold that's the case here.

Except that he didn't. Thief is investigative. Or are we on something else?

When he claimed he said he was an investigative role, not a thief.

I think he's referring to the fact that he didn't outright say he was a thief he hinted around it. It wasn't an out right lie though so that part is an exaggeration. I highly doubt that the vig killed edoc. Safari seemed like the more logical choice of the three deaths and woo possibly a casualty between the three. At the very least, Got tonkaed and edoc had both given me town vibes and I was sensing slightly more third party from Safari. I would hope that the cop investigated doomyoshi but like others have recommended, I don't think he should out right say if he found him guilty or innocent.

Would a Scum work so hard to lynch someone on Day 1? Or would he just throw his vote in and let the townies do all the work? Principles of Aikido suggest the second strategy is better, so I conclude that Yoshi is a noob (no offense men, we all were) and Pancake is a seasoned scum. Vote Pancake

That was good for a hearty chuckle. Not saying one way or the other whether it's true, but still hilarious nonetheless.

I only stated that what he said was WIFOM. Which it is. The rest is commentary. Methinks you're a bit quick to jump at me.

I think I've hinted around this but again doomyoshi's quick hammer seems more newbish than scummy. He didn't immediately hammer after the claim he allowed a few comments to be made and lynched based on what to me appears to be a misinterpretation of the case. I got a bit caught up in the POTC mafia and have not yet reread. Will do so now.
